Just as before, accessing the secret room where the Round Table is housed requires using the Knight's keycard to open the glass case beside the mural of the War in Heaven, located across from the ballroom entrance. Using the fire extinguisher as a lever to activate the "door" mechanism reveals the long torch-lit hall plastered in artwork depicting the Knight's history. The tenants of the Knighthood hang large and foreboding over the doors at the end of the hall, which stand open to reveal the brightly lit Round Table, and the majestic crystalline dragon statue presiding over it.

Come in, find a seat, meet your teammates if you haven't already somehow.

[ Still not terribly impressed by Team Mom over here, but at Kyomi's tittering, she chills out somewhat, and looks over at Stiles. ]

Wait, you're a full-fledged knight? What are you, like 19? Are we recruiting out of high school chemistry classes?

I've been here for like 2 years. Had a squire that's been promoted and everything. Matt Byrne? Yeah- taught him everything he knows.

I was recruited when some of the knights found me helping an Argentinian village survive a werewolf attack. I was there when the Knights took Andres. Got a lot of innocent people to safety. And yeah- my chem scores were decent, too. I think that's really what sold Wynn on it.

Plus he doesn't look much younger than me and I'm twenty seven. [No. She's not kidding. Some people can't help the fact that they look like they could pass for a high school student.

The fact that Kenzi still acts like she's in High School may have something to do with it, though.]

[ regina doesn't have much to look horrified and start obsessively looking for a mirror to check who's the fairest in the land before the doors open and a blast of gold light announces wynn's arrival. ] I see you're all gathered.

[ Skye's eyes light up with recognition of Matt's name like she's SO READY to give him shit for being squired to the teenager, but she looks over when Wynn arrives and that shuts her up quickly. She sits back in her chair. ]

The mission that I have for you is simple enough - you'll be heading to Gatwick to meet with a man named Professor Henry Bogdanovich. He's a research scientist from a small college in the Midwest of America, and one who is coming to speak with Sir Trinall regarding some research that may prove invaluable to our work here. As he'll be bringing some of his research with him, after... recent events, we thought it wise to provide him with an escort to the downtown office.

[Kenzi for her part seemed only mildly interested in what's being said, until his comment on recent events that is.

She goes from lazing in her seat to turning her sharp eyes towards Wynn. Straightening but keeping her questions to herself... for now.]

Are you saying we're on babysitting duty? [ that might be pointed towards... the rest of you on top of this professor. fuck her life. ]

Nah, it's more like a nerdy version of The Bodyguard.

What kind of research? [ Skye sits forward, furrowing her brow. ]

He's developed a theory that ordinary objects absorb the impressions of sounds made near them, and under the right conditions, can be made to play back those sounds with amazing clarity. Most people find his work easily dismissable, however he's made some strides that may support his conclusions.

So is it like... papers or a flash drive, or... like some kind of machine he's developed to hear these sounds or..?

Or are they gonna kidnap him for what's in his head?

He says that he's bringing a prototype, but either way, I think it's wise to see that he and his belongings arrive safely.

[For her part, Kenzi appears to relax because it's either not what she thought or... she doesn't know how to connect it to what she thought.]

[for the first time, her expression goes dark. she hasn't seen any of those people, let alone been personally involved with them, but she's heard what they're about. and she is not fond of them.]

Not necessarily, but I don't believe it's wise for us to assume anything less right now.

Probably not. So... definitely going in armed. Anyone have any super cool powers we should know about? Just so we know what we're working with.
