[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.  This takes place after the Knights have returned from Dimitris' wedding.

Oh no, nothing so dramatic. I just think what she perceives as the truth may be a bit biased, and because no one can recall enough to call her on it, she's simply allowed what was just her perception of things to become undisputed fact in her mind.

Utterly harmless, until she turns it on people who don't know any better, and not a one of us can speak up to say she's wrong, because the truth of the matter is we don't know.

I suppose you have a point there. [considering he has been a victim of LIFE RUINER EMMA SWAN as well.] But it does have the benefit of making her look like a fool whenever we prove her base assumptions incorrect. She'll discredit herself, in time.

[unhappily]

And in the meantime, we're just supposed to what? Wait for it?

She seems to be doing a decent job of it at the moment. Of course, it's all part and parcel to her being a sea monster, I suppose.

[he eyes her cautiously.] Do you have a better idea?

[unhappily]

That depends.

Would you be interested in seeing her put in her place?

[undealt]

[he raises an eyebrow. well, he's been... sort of trying to help her, but at the same time, even that has an underlying motive behind it. beating her curse and Amara's curse proves that unbreakable curses can be broken and maybe there's a way to be free of this whole Dark One business... but at the same time, why should he risk losing his own magic when he can just learn to control it?

and why should he bother helping Emma Swan, even with an ulterior motive, when she's done nothing but inconvenience him?

he leans forward.]

We should find out exactly how Wynn is keeping her from trying to murder someone again. Chances are, whatever it is isn't good enough.

[undealt]

Considering it seems to be "keep her in the damned lake" so far, I'm inclined to agree.

[unhappily]

He said he planned to get her an escort, at one point.

[undealt]

Then I suppose someone will have to suggest an escort who might inadvertently provoke her.

[unhappily]

Now who do we know that would fit that bill? Other than literally anyone.

[Hook's out of the question- no one would put him up to that. Faye or Lila could probably manage it, but he wouldn't put either of them in danger like that. Snow can't really provoke anyone, intentionally or not.]

Perhaps the Karamazov boy. He's certainly seen what she's capable of.

[unhappily]

But would he actually be able to provoke her?

I think he has the potential, which is more than I can say for most people when it comes to sea monsters.

So who's going to pitch this to Wynn? Do you think he'd listen to either of us?

[undealt]

I'm her former mentor. I've never said a word against her, and I've been actively working to help rid her of her curse. I think he'd be more than willing to listen to my thoughts on the subject.

[unhappily]

That's not actually a bad point. [ sound more surprised, regina ]

[undealt]

[he chooses to ignore her surprise.] I do, on occasion, make them.

[okay he'll just acknowledge it in the most dickish way ever, and ON ON THAT NOTE... he's gonna get ready to leave.] Thank you, Regina. This has been... an illuminating conversation.
