[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.  This takes place after the Knights have returned from Dimitris' wedding.

I've heard some stories. [there's a raised eyebrow with that that says they were not impressive stories.]

I regret to say they're probably all true.

[ambitionist]

That sucks. Even when I've been with some less than impressive teammates, I've been lucky enough to not have to deal with them more than once. If I had to deal with the same incompetence for like, three years or some shit, I don't fuckin' know. It wouldn't be pretty.

Let's just say I've never complained about my long assignments away.

Yeah, well, the people who should be the most grateful are usually the least grateful. Because they're too dumb to know how grateful they should be. That's some facts of life shit.

Makes you wonder what Wynn was thinking when he threw that team together. Was it just whoever was around that day? Because I went on a mission like that and it was a fuckin' sight to behold.

What happened?

It was the mission to rescue Gar. Total fucking shit show. I don't know how much better it could have went, considering that Mind Master bitch fucked up me and Hasmed, of all the fuckin' people, but having rookies on board probably didn't help. [he's not bitter about getting clocked by barry or anything nah]

She even terrifies the other villains, if it's any consolation.

Do they have some sort of allegiance based on fear or something?

Crombe believes he has her firmly under his thumb, but that's different from not fearing her power.

Yeah, I doubt she's under anybody's thumb unless that's exactly where she fuckin' wants to be.

Yes, well his man-pride keeps him from seeing what seems obvious to you or I.

That man-pride'll get you every time.
