[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.  This takes place after the Knights have returned from Dimitris' wedding. 

You are encouraged to start your own threads and tag around, and feel free to threadjack into any on-going threads that aren't specified as 'closed' in the subject lines since people can enter into rooms even in the middle of what's going on. WE ARE BIG ON THREAD-JACKING HERE. Oh I don't trust those racist dicks as far as I can kick them. [She could see their motivation in wanting to close the veil and it wasn't as pure as they tried to make it seem. It was racism, plain and simple but just because their motives were less than pure, didn't mean opposing them on that particular issue was right either.]

It's hard for us to have an opinion when the whole thing is being kept a secret. [And the secretive nature of something as big as this is exactly why Kenzi isn't sure she trusts their motives either.]

Everyone keeps secrets, Kenz. [ His tone is quiet but he looks thoughtful as he takes another sip of his drink and glances over at her. ] It's what people do. The difference usually lies in their motives - whether they're the kind of person keeping something big a secret from you to use it against you, or to try and protect you. Sometimes it falls out bad either way, but for some reason that never seems to stop us from doing it anyway.
