[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.  This takes place after the Knights have returned from Dimitris' wedding. 

You are encouraged to start your own threads and tag around, and feel free to threadjack into any on-going threads that aren't specified as 'closed' in the subject lines since people can enter into rooms even in the middle of what's going on. WE ARE BIG ON THREAD-JACKING HERE. You can also specify 'single thread', meaning you want only one response for all participants, rather than multi-thread, where a number of different scenes/threads can be done as replies to the top prompt.]

[He smiles back down at her, thumb running over the back of her hand, just enjoying a little moment of quiet while they both focus on the good instead of the unknown.]

[ she eases her way back in, checking before hand in case they're still in the midst of conversation ] Not interrupting, am I?

Not at all. Are we ready to go?

[Andrew turns and gives her a small, nervous smile, hopeful that the answer is yes. The sooner they can get some answers, the sooner they'll be able to relax a bit.]

[silvermaid]

Everything's all set. Are you doing alright?

[succubestie]

[To her credit, she seems about as fine as she could be, all things considered.]

We're fine. [Or they will be.] Let's go.

[Andrew nods as well.]

Sooner the better, honestly.

[Gonna be a fidgety car ride yall.]

[ anastacia tries to keep a smile on her face on the way there, but the fact that she doesn't say much and seems to be caught up in her own thoughts is telling enough. they finally arrive, and she gestures for them to go in and have a seat while she informs the secretary who they are ]

[Bo is uncharacteristically quiet as well, her attention divided between Andrew and whatever happens to be passing by the window.

She'll be glad when this bit is over. This is not how this was supposed to go.

Bo gives Anastacia a nod before she pulls Andrew with her over to the seats, settling into one without a word.]

[Andrew is trying not to be super fidgety, but uh- he's bad at it. He follows Bo, though, and sits beside her, not noticing how his knee is wildly bouncing as he looks around the room.]

You need anything? Water? Snack? I bet there's a machine around here somewhere.

[succubestie]

Hm?

[She looks over, as if distracted, before she attempts a smile and shakes her head.]

No, I'm fine. [She glances toward Ana again.] I just want to get this over with.

[What if I come back here 8 million years later and act like I didn't disappear for months shhhh]

Same here. It's weird to be excited about something and dreading it at the same time.

[Which is... not the right thing to say, but it's the honest thing, so there's that.]

[silvermaid]

Let's try to keep the dread to a minimum, shall we? Come on. It's time.

[succubestie]

[Easier said than done, of course, but Bo puts on a smile and nods as she gets up, reaching for Andrew's hand so they can follow her back.]

[And then Andrew went into a four month coma.

Jk jk he takes Bo's hand and they head on back to find out just what sort of baby they've made!]

[silvermaid]

[ nothing sets on fire at the doctor's office, but they do find out from the dr...

"It looks like it's going to be a boy. Congratulations." ]

[succubestie]

[With a miraculous will save, Bo resists mentioning any jokes or innuendos about having a dick inside her. Thank god.]

Does everything look okay?

[Andrew is having one of those moments where you tell yourself that you just want the baby to be healthy and you don't really care, but secretly he really wanted a son and so he's just internally flailing and outwardly grinning like a moron.

That is, until Bo's question grounds him. Right. The whole reason they're here is because something was keeping Ana from being able to tell them this.]

All his pieces and parts in the right spots?

[ "Perfectly healthy. I know it's normal for parents to worry, but you have no cause to." ]

[succubestie]

[You say that, but...

...Still, they can worry about that later. Bo breathes a sigh of relief for now, expression perking up visibly.]

Looks like we can start picking out baby clothes.

[badexample]

Ohthankgod. [Andrew's sigh of relief is a bit more audible.]

It's just- we were worried because she's a suc.... [he freezes] ...ker for sweets. Yeah, that's it. [He laughs nervously] Can't keep this one away from the chocolate.

See, it's going to be alright. [ ana tries to smile, but it looks a little forced ] Just a failed spell, I imagine.

[succubestie]

[Yeah, Bo's not buying that, but she's not taking away from a happy moment right this second.]

Thanks for seeing us on such short notice.

[To the doctor.]

What she said. [He's still grinning like an idiot. There's plenty of time to worry about all sorts of things. Right now, he's just so excited.]

We should probably come back to have things checked out as things go on, I'd imagine?
