[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.  This takes place after the Knights have returned from Dimitris' wedding. 

You are encouraged to start your own threads and tag around, and feel free to threadjack into any on-going threads that aren't specified as 'closed' in the subject lines since people can enter into rooms even in the middle of what's going on. WE ARE BIG ON THREAD-JACKING HERE. I like to consider myself a practical sort of demon, when I can.

People knock it, but practical will keep you alive a lot better than optimistic will.

Very true, though I like to imagine that they don't have to be mutually exclusive.

Yeah, but they don't really go together all that well, either. Two great tastes, not so great in one go.

I find they mix a little better if you swallow them both down with a healthy dose of vodka.

[Most things go down easier that way, tbh.]

Vodka, bourbon, a good whiskey. [ She huffs out a laugh. ] Hell, a bad whiskey. Better than a spoonful of sugar. Not that I'm maligning Mary Poppins.

Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker.

[ She taps her nose and points at him. ] Plus, liquor doesn't rot your teeth. At least, I'm pretty sure it doesn't.

I wouldn't say it's actively good for them, either, but you're probably right.

Well, better than most mixers, anyway. Juice is all sugar. Soda, all sugar and acid.

Lucky me, I never had to give either of them much thought. Demon metabolism? Fantastic. Except for the part where I can't actually get drunk.

Yeah, I think I'll take the human metabolism. [ She pauses a beat. ] Well, half-elf. But I can still get smashed.

Does the half-elf gig come with any perks, bychance? Can't say I know much about it.
