[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.  This takes place after the Knights have returned from Dimitris' wedding.

Finn | Mid-May | The British Museum | Open, Single Thread

[It's a relatively normal day at The British Museum. Not too busy, but not too empty either, and there's apparently an amazing ancient Egyptian display that's drawing locals and tourists alike.

Things go a little awry, however, when seemingly out of nowhere, a man drops in from the ceiling and onto one of the glass cases in the middle of the room. Miraculously, the glass only cracks at the weight, but the individual that's been deposited there is seemingly not so lucky.

First, he's unconscious. Second, he doesn't seem to be from around here, given his clothing and his equipment. Third, he's accompanied by the faint scent of burnt flesh.

He seems to be breathing at least, but someone should probably help him.]

[It is unclear who, precisely, thought it was a good idea to send Drax to a museum. But here he is, staring at precisely the exhibit Finn has dropped onto, frowning intensely and the unconscious human on the glass case.]

...is the falling man a metaphor for something?

Maybe he's protestin' how borin' this crap is. [says Rocket who looks like this is about the most exciting thing that has happened to him since he decided this could actually be interesting and was proven terribly wrong.

he scrambles up Drax's shoulder] Okay, okay, y'all. Back the hell up. We're professionals. We got this.

[The people nearby were probably freaked out by Drax and Rocket already, so this isn't helping. They whisper in concerned tones, but back the fuck up because seriously.

Finn doesn't move, still out cold. At least he's not bleeding out. Thanks for cauterizing those wounds, lightsaber. Small favors.]

[Drax steps up to the case and touches Finn's wrist, then nods.]

His heart and respiratory system appear to be functioning, but he does not appear to be capable of protesting anything.
