The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

I made it. [She pulls it a little closer to her chest and gives Jaina a slightly more suspicious look.] Did you... not make yours?

Technically, it's not mine. [ close enough now, right? ] But the Jedi it belonged to was killed.

[Ahsoka presses her lips together, giving the other woman a wary look.]

Did you kill them?

[It's certainly not unheard of. And even if this woman doesn't give her a bad feeling, well, she's been wrong before. And other Jedi have been wrong about her before.]

I didn't, no. But the woman who did is here.

It's ... complicated.

[nojedi]

Complicated? [Ahsoka snarls, hand curling tighter around her lightsaber as she looks around.] What's complicated about that? Where is she? Is she imprisoned?

[Ahsoka isn't a Jedi anymore, but killing one still seems so... wrong. They're the good guys, or at least, supposed to be. Complicated feelings aside, she doesn't want any of them dying.]

Hey. Calm down. [ she slips to her feet instantly, as if to keep the woman from running off to hunt down the woman in question ] She's seeking a way to change. She wants our help, and killing her isn't going to bring anyone back. If she's genuine about her desire to reform, then what does it make us to cut her down?

[Ahsoka glares.] Did this desire to reform come about before or after she started killing Jedi?
