Hasmed's announcement does not brook any rebuttal: all Knights are recalled to the Castle, where they must remain until the Section Heads and Jack Chessing have spoken about the events in Los Angeles that have left the Knighthood without their usual leader.  

The entire Los Angeles area is now covered with a dark miasma that has interfered with any signals that might be sent out from phones, etc., leaving the whole world wondering what exactly is happening down there.  Final images showed horrendous monsters, a panic of citizens, looting and violence from humans and Shadowkind alike.  

Hasmed has warned of extra magical wards on the castle, and anyone arriving will immediately take notice of one very prominent one: above the entire roof of the excessively large building hovers a black and red sigil in the air, a pentagram in a circle surrounded by runes or words in an unknown language, stretching for miles.  

[ This is the social log for post-LA lockdown.  Failboat must complete the top log before being allowed to tag outside of it. ]

[She nods once before lifting a finger and pointing to her own face.]

It's Felicity. Braddock.

[And before he can state his confusion she just lets the ramble run right into the explanation.]

The attempt to try and resurrect me didn't work, so my friend who is a druid reincarnated me instead, into a new body. Now, I know, this is the worst possible time to go shopping for a new body, but ... what are you going to do?

[She is also tired. She has had an emotional roller coaster of a night and it doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon but here she is. This is what she signed up for after all.]

But you can see how this might complicate things.

[ he pushes to his feet slowly, pushing his chair back and crossing towards her in the doorway. his eyes drift over her features, as if trying to ascertain if there's anything of felicity in there. he sounds amazed as he says: ] Felicity?

[She takes a deep breath and she nods, because at least he's not telling her she's full of shit.]

I don't know how this works. How I ... prove I'm me, beyond a reasonable doubt, but ... yeah.

[ he considers for a moment, before nodding once ] I can think of a way.

Are you aware of the situation unfolding?

[She nods, because while there are things she needs to get caught up on, and she needs a new phone, she did see Solace's message on the way back because she was with at least one knight with a drakenet phone?]

I know that Hellsing is here, Wynn is missing, and you've gotten temporarily demoted and our mission team is benched.

[She pauses because she is sympathetic to the fact that he's basically lost his job.]

Gus got Solace's video message when we were coming back. But anything beyond that you may have to catch me up on.

[He was not happy about Hellsing.]

There's quite a bit to catch everyone up on, including what was not in that transmission.

Come back in a couple of hours at the meeting time. Don't let anyone see you enter Thomas' room.

[She pauses for a moment, before nodding her agreement. If there's anything she's good at, it's that.]

Should I try and stay out of sight, then? As of right now two people know about me at most. I can try and keep that group small.

[There are benefits to being in a brand new body, and she's been a grifter long enough to be able to see them.]

[ jack is silent for a moment, considering that, and all the implications of what she's saying.

finally, he nods once, grimly ] That may be best, yes.

And Felicity? [ he reaches out and places his hand on her arm ] Thank God you're back with us.

[There's a small smile and a nod at that touch, before she takes a step back and goes to head back to her room with Thoster so she can take a little more time to process all of this and have her game face on.]

I'm going to go try and catch a nap. I'll see you at the meeting.

[Try being the operative word. But if there's nothing else, she'll slip out and take the stealthiest route possible back to her room (move silently 30 or escape artist 28, whichever is more appropriate).]
