Hasmed's announcement does not brook any rebuttal: all Knights are recalled to the Castle, where they must remain until the Section Heads and Jack Chessing have spoken about the events in Los Angeles that have left the Knighthood without their usual leader.  

The entire Los Angeles area is now covered with a dark miasma that has interfered with any signals that might be sent out from phones, etc., leaving the whole world wondering what exactly is happening down there.  Final images showed horrendous monsters, a panic of citizens, looting and violence from humans and Shadowkind alike.  

Hasmed has warned of extra magical wards on the castle, and anyone arriving will immediately take notice of one very prominent one: above the entire roof of the excessively large building hovers a black and red sigil in the air, a pentagram in a circle surrounded by runes or words in an unknown language, stretching for miles.  

[ This is the social log for post-LA lockdown.  Failboat must complete the top log before being allowed to tag outside of it. ]

We don't have to stay.

[He'd stay and fight - he's stayed and fought before. With the Doctor, things always felt like they were the end of the world, and he would stay and fight because usually Amy was at stake, and he would never leave her side. Ever. He spent two thousand years waiting for her to recover inside the Pandorica, and while he doesn't remember all of them, he remembers enough.

But this isn't an Amy who's even made it to some of the adventures they've seen, and he doesn't want to force her to fight if she doesn't want to. Solace said they could leave without judgement.

If she wanted to, he would follow her anywhere, whether it was into battle or back to his old flat in London.]

I know they'll probably say it's all of our fights or something like that, but it doesn't have to be.

I know.

[ and she does know, she knows rory will never pressure her to do something she is unsure of. ]

But you're a nurse, Rory. They'll need you. [ amy doesn't particularly want to fight even if her entire nature is bitey. this is too big and she is only one relatively useless human. but she doesn't know if she can abandon a fight this big. ]

They have plenty of clerics and doctors.

[It's not that he doesn't care about what happens to these people. But Amy is always going to be his priority no matter what.]

You're the only adventure I ever wanted. So if you want to go, we'll go.

[ amy knows now that she loves rory williams, more than anything. if he proposed again she would marry him. but if she hadn't known, if she was still on the fence, you're the only adventure i ever wanted would have knocked her directly into his arms. even now he manages to romance her into brief silence, mouth falling open before she surges forward to kiss him.

she doesn't know what she wants to do, but as long as she's with rory, it doesn't matter. ]

[He relaxes as he kisses her back, Lucia unfortunately caught between them, but there's nothing that's going to stop him from kissing his wife. His free hand does come up gently, brushing his thumb against her chin gently and keeping her close.]

[ lucia lets this happen for a brief amount of time before she squawks unhappily and tries to push them apart because they're squishing her! "I want go outside!"

amy draws back with a smile, cheeks flushed happily, looking very much in love with rory but she turns that smile to lucia and peels her out of rory's arms to set her down and hold her hand. ]

Of course, Lady Lucia, lead the way.

[Rory nods in agreement and off they go to hang out in the gardens for a little while. /scene]
