Hasmed's announcement does not brook any rebuttal: all Knights are recalled to the Castle, where they must remain until the Section Heads and Jack Chessing have spoken about the events in Los Angeles that have left the Knighthood without their usual leader.  

The entire Los Angeles area is now covered with a dark miasma that has interfered with any signals that might be sent out from phones, etc., leaving the whole world wondering what exactly is happening down there.  Final images showed horrendous monsters, a panic of citizens, looting and violence from humans and Shadowkind alike.  

Hasmed has warned of extra magical wards on the castle, and anyone arriving will immediately take notice of one very prominent one: above the entire roof of the excessively large building hovers a black and red sigil in the air, a pentagram in a circle surrounded by runes or words in an unknown language, stretching for miles.  

[ This is the social log for post-LA lockdown.  Failboat must complete the top log before being allowed to tag outside of it. ]

[ bea flops back on the bed, staring at the ceiling in defeat. she gives in, she'd already given in, she knew already that rosario wasn't going to go back alone and return to what she was doing like nothing happened.

[She smiles softly at that, before leaning back and lying down next to her, reaching for Bea's hand and lacing their fingers together.]

If only DiCaprio had aged as well as Kate Winslet did.

Are you sure you don't want to go back? I'll marry you, we can have a honeymoon, very far away. Antarctica!

We are not getting married in Antartica. Also, I'm from Mexico, do you honestly thing I want to be anywhere that cold?

But also, now that you've put marriage on the table, don't think you can take it back.

If we're not getting married in Antarctica then we're not getting married, my sweet desert flower.

[ technically marriage is still on the table, it's on a table on an ice floe. ]

That is unfair and impractical. Snowsuits are not sexy wedding attire.

We'd be getting married inside, Ro, if you choose to wear a snowsuit inside, that is your own problem.

[She makes a face, because that is still too much cold.]

And we'd have to get so many people there ...

[Her mom, her ... entire family of roaming nomad ladies like ... that's a lot of money for transportation.]

[She gives her a bit of a look at that, because she knows it, and sighs as she flops against the bed.]

I just don't think you should use all your energy teleporting people. You should save it. For after the wedding.

Rosario Selena Aguilar Valeria, how dare you imply that I will not have enough energy to get you properly off. [ and now that ro has flopped bea rolls over to straddle her hips, grinning down at her future wife. ] I'll take a nap first.

[She laughs a bit, before pushing up into a sitting position so she can lean in and kiss her.]
