Hasmed's announcement does not brook any rebuttal: all Knights are recalled to the Castle, where they must remain until the Section Heads and Jack Chessing have spoken about the events in Los Angeles that have left the Knighthood without their usual leader.  

The entire Los Angeles area is now covered with a dark miasma that has interfered with any signals that might be sent out from phones, etc., leaving the whole world wondering what exactly is happening down there.  Final images showed horrendous monsters, a panic of citizens, looting and violence from humans and Shadowkind alike.  

Hasmed has warned of extra magical wards on the castle, and anyone arriving will immediately take notice of one very prominent one: above the entire roof of the excessively large building hovers a black and red sigil in the air, a pentagram in a circle surrounded by runes or words in an unknown language, stretching for miles.  

[ This is the social log for post-LA lockdown.  Failboat must complete the top log before being allowed to tag outside of it. ]

Tiny bacon is better than no bacon. But I prefer actual freshly crumbled bacon every time.

Real bacon, right? Not the bacon that's in those little shaker bottles.

[She frowns.] Have you had Canada bacon? It isn't bacon.

It isn't, but it's no bad. Just false advertising. [He grabs a few more chips and bites into one before looking over at her.]

[animalistic]

[She nods, trying to understand why someone would false advertise bacon. It doesn't make sense to her.]

Sure. [She glances to him.] I'm sorry. About the last time... [She wants to keep going, to explain what she was trying to do, that it was just a dumb idea to try and get him to remember. But she figures this isn't the time. Not that anytime is the right time.]

Have you seen all the babies in this place, lately?

[He knows they should probably talk about Beacon Hills and the parts of his memory that are missing. But he's glad that she doesn't push further right now.

Talking about toddlers is easier.]

They're cute, right? The one that's kinda orange? That's Lulu. [Or Lucia, but Stiles likes nicknames okay.] She's my friend Vi's little girl. I know picking a favorite baby is probably a dick move, but... she's kind of the best.

[animalistic]

They're little and I don't think they'll know if you pick favorites. They might care if you tell them to their faces and they remember it, but I don't remember much from when I was a baby. [Or a kid.]

They'll probably forget it and won't be resentful of you later in life.

Probably. [He says with a little laugh.] I think I heard someone say there's a new baby. Pretty shitty time to be born around here, but... I guess they didn't have much say.

[animalistic]

I guess stressful situations and all the life or death things that we get into just makes people realize how much they like having sex as a distraction from all the horrible things.

Probably. I think a lot of people had an 'end of the world' night before we went to Andres. It wouldn't surprise me if that happens again with all this.

[He's aware of how... weird this conversation is, considering he woke up with her in his bed once. But he's too numb to be bothered. Plus, he doesn't think she's hitting on him or anything so it's not a problem.]

[She's definitely not trying to hit on him. She nods at his estimation, though. It makes sense.]

It seems odd though. If the world is ending or things are getting worse -- why do something that might make more people?

I don't think it's necessarily to make more people. Babies don't come for... awhile, so if the world really does end, then it's not something that would ever actually happen. But if we save the world, then oops baby.

[animalistic]

[She thinks that sounds even worse. To take a risk on the chance that you might die...

Rather than continue the conversation, though, she just nods.]

Do you think we'll save the world this time? [She pauses, then looks at him in her most reassuring look.] I don't want to have a maybe baby. I just -- I hope we save the world.

[killingtodeath]

I don't know. [The weight of the uncertainty sort of hangs there in between them.] I really hope we do, too.

[animalistic]

[She nods. Agreeing with his hopefulness.]

I should -- I should let you get back to ... I should let you be.

[killingtodeath]

[He's in this weird place where he doesn't want to be alone, but he also does? And he isn't sure if she's uncomfortable around him.]

You don't have to. I mean- we can find a movie to watch or something, if you want.

[animalistic]

Are you sure? [She wants to stay, but she doesn't want to make him feel weird about it.]

You can pick the movie, because I don't know any of them. [She says it, trying to make it more inviting for her to stay.]

[killingtodeath]

I'm sure. [He starts browsing Netflix, not really sure what he's looking for. There's some bad low budget sci fi action flick, so he tosses that on and leans back against the couch.]

[She glances to him and smiles.] Of course.

[The movie starts and she wants to pay attention to it. She wants to make sure she knows the names of these characters in case it actually turns out to be good.]
