Hasmed's announcement does not brook any rebuttal: all Knights are recalled to the Castle, where they must remain until the Section Heads and Jack Chessing have spoken about the events in Los Angeles that have left the Knighthood without their usual leader.  

The entire Los Angeles area is now covered with a dark miasma that has interfered with any signals that might be sent out from phones, etc., leaving the whole world wondering what exactly is happening down there.  Final images showed horrendous monsters, a panic of citizens, looting and violence from humans and Shadowkind alike.  

Hasmed has warned of extra magical wards on the castle, and anyone arriving will immediately take notice of one very prominent one: above the entire roof of the excessively large building hovers a black and red sigil in the air, a pentagram in a circle surrounded by runes or words in an unknown language, stretching for miles.  

[ This is the social log for post-LA lockdown.  Failboat must complete the top log before being allowed to tag outside of it. ]

Most of the day. [And by that, he means he slept here last night.] Just trying to keep my mind off... everything.

Have you eaten? [She glances around, trying to find the telltale signs of Stiles Survival.]

Some. [Mostly when people stop by and remind him to eat.] I think there's a bag of chips around here somewhere if you need something.

[She makes a face, because chips aren't really food.]

Not chips. [She shifts a little, turning to face him a bit more.] We could make a pizza.

[He doesn't feel hungry, but he's been doing his best to not really feel anything. But he also knows that saying no means talking about... stuff. And he doesn't know if he can.]

Sure. The kitchens are usually pretty well stocked. [As if on cue, the credits start to roll on what he was watching.]

[She knows that she's just trying to do what Scott would have wanted her to do. She sits up first, then rising to her feet and waits for him to join her.]

It'll be fun. [She moves to the door, planning on heading to the kitchen.]

I always wanted to try and learn how to do the whole tossing it in the air thing. I would chicken out and just roll it out on the counter.

[He gets up and joins her, leaving the room a bit of a mess, but he'll probably be back later, so it's fine.]

We can probably YouTube it. Give it a try.

[She pulls her phone out and starts to search for videos. She stops walking and makes a face.]

Okay. We just have to do better than this guy. [She shows him this video and stifles a laugh.]

[It catches him off guard enough that when the sauce starts to overflow, he chokes a laugh. As the video continues, he finds himself smiling, then actually laughing. Once it ends, he shakes his head.]

That's the lowest bar we could possibly set. I like it.

We definitely can do better than that. Even if we just end up microwaving cheese onto an English muffin it'll be a success compared to that.

[She then moves onto actually looking for real videos on how to make a pizza. At least how to toss pizza dough, because she's going to try and do that.]

Also, we need to discuss your opinion on pineapple.

Pineapple with marinara is pretty gross, but alright on a barbecue pizza. But... pizza's pizza and at the end of the day, I'm probably not turning it down, either way.

I've never been pro-Barbecue pizza. I mean, if I want barbecue - I go for barbecue.

[They arrive at a kitchen and Allison sets her phone down on the counter, before starting to dig through the fridge.] Can you try to find a pizza pan?

That's fair. [He goes digging through some cabinets and manages to get a decent search check to find a pan! So things are definitely looking up.]

So what's on your dream pizza?

I think starting with the base is important. Thin crust, definitely. Well done, too. That almost burned edges option.

Not a lot of sauce. Then just classics. Mushrooms, sausage, green peppers -- then enough cheese to cover the toppings, but not too much that you end up with pools of grease.

[He nods at her description, his stomach giving a growl of approval.]

Sounds good. And I bet we can find pretty much all of that. [Simple ingredients should be easy to find, right?]

Totally. [She nods, trying to be confident of this food adventure. If it turns into a disaster, they can order in.]

[He starts looking for ingredients, piling things on the counter.]

You know, if it turns out we're good at this, we might be in high demand. Cabin fever lockdown pizza.

[Allison laughs, which for once doesn't feel forced.]

Cabin Fever Pizzeria. It has a nice sound to it.
