Hasmed's announcement does not brook any rebuttal: all Knights are recalled to the Castle, where they must remain until the Section Heads and Jack Chessing have spoken about the events in Los Angeles that have left the Knighthood without their usual leader.  

The entire Los Angeles area is now covered with a dark miasma that has interfered with any signals that might be sent out from phones, etc., leaving the whole world wondering what exactly is happening down there.  Final images showed horrendous monsters, a panic of citizens, looting and violence from humans and Shadowkind alike.  

Hasmed has warned of extra magical wards on the castle, and anyone arriving will immediately take notice of one very prominent one: above the entire roof of the excessively large building hovers a black and red sigil in the air, a pentagram in a circle surrounded by runes or words in an unknown language, stretching for miles.  

[ This is the social log for post-LA lockdown.  Failboat must complete the top log before being allowed to tag outside of it. ]

Faith's dogs are free range. [ but also he is going to find leashes for the time being... katniss makes a good point. ]

Yeah, well there's apparently some vampire wandering around out here too, and not one of ours. I'm actually the least of your problems.

[She feels a little embarrassed about this whole thing, so apparently the solution is to move on like it didn't happen.

So she walks over, her face composed now that she's not in the midst of some mild panic attack.]

[ that actually gives sean pause, looking down at the dog which is practically vibrating with excitement now that the strange woman is coming to them. IS IT TIME FOR PETS??? ]

[ he glances back out of the trees. he should... wrangle the dogs. ]

The vampire? Yeah. I don't know a whole lot about him, but my mentor warned me to keep an eye out.

You wouldn't... do you think you could help me wrangle the dogs?

[That sounds like the absolute last thing she wants to do.]

They have names?

[ first of all, how dare you ask if they have names. second of all, they do, but i don't remember literally a single one of them. there is a snake tho. so anyway SEAN LISTS OFF ALL THEIR NAMES faith has too many pets. one of them is archer's ocelot. ]

[She'll give him a nod and then head off, calling the names of the animal's from time to time as she helps gather them up to get them inside.

She's not happy about it, though. Animals usually hate her.]
