Hasmed's announcement does not brook any rebuttal: all Knights are recalled to the Castle, where they must remain until the Section Heads and Jack Chessing have spoken about the events in Los Angeles that have left the Knighthood without their usual leader.  

The entire Los Angeles area is now covered with a dark miasma that has interfered with any signals that might be sent out from phones, etc., leaving the whole world wondering what exactly is happening down there.  Final images showed horrendous monsters, a panic of citizens, looting and violence from humans and Shadowkind alike.  

Hasmed has warned of extra magical wards on the castle, and anyone arriving will immediately take notice of one very prominent one: above the entire roof of the excessively large building hovers a black and red sigil in the air, a pentagram in a circle surrounded by runes or words in an unknown language, stretching for miles.

There's a lot of wiggle room between "perfect" and "disappointment."

Did you think all Sith Lords started out evil?

I haven't met many. [ defensive. she deflates a moment later, thinking of ... something. ] But no. I guess not.

He used to be a Jedi and then he was corrupted. All the power, none of the morals.

[forcevisions]

How? [ there's something raw about the way she asks. ] How does it happen? What happened to him?

[flyingsolo]

I don't know. But I imagine Vane knows more about how it happens.

[forcevisions]

What does it mean for her, that Wynn is gone? Do you know?

[flyingsolo]

I'm not certain. I wonder if Hasmed and Solace have given it a second thought.

[forcevisions]

I hope that's true. You heard what they said about those Knights.

[ what would they do with someone who had never been a knight, but was equally guilty of horrible things? vane had not earned her name for nothing. ]

What about the holocron? Do you know where it's being kept?

[flyingsolo]

I would guess Wynn kept it in his vault.

[forcevisions]

... We need to get it out. [ she's heard enough from cora about hellsing, seen enough of hasmed and solace and heard ahsoka's and jyn's interpretations of how the jedi fell, to smell the storm coming. that's her only chance of understanding this power that has awakened inside of her. she won't lose it to ... to ... politics. she has to trust that jaina will help her, that jaina will understand that it means as much to her as it does to rey. ] Where is his vault and how do we get in?

[flyingsolo]

[ she shakes her head ] I don't know. I've only heard Dovan mention it before.

Then maybe he knows. Do you think he'd tell you, if you asked?

[flyingsolo]

I can try.

[forcevisions]

Try. [ she says it quickly, then adds. ] Please.
