Hasmed's announcement does not brook any rebuttal: all Knights are recalled to the Castle, where they must remain until the Section Heads and Jack Chessing have spoken about the events in Los Angeles that have left the Knighthood without their usual leader.  

The entire Los Angeles area is now covered with a dark miasma that has interfered with any signals that might be sent out from phones, etc., leaving the whole world wondering what exactly is happening down there.  Final images showed horrendous monsters, a panic of citizens, looting and violence from humans and Shadowkind alike.  

Hasmed has warned of extra magical wards on the castle, and anyone arriving will immediately take notice of one very prominent one: above the entire roof of the excessively large building hovers a black and red sigil in the air, a pentagram in a circle surrounded by runes or words in an unknown language, stretching for miles.  

[ This is the social log for post-LA lockdown.  Failboat must complete the top log before being allowed to tag outside of it. ]

And who should I say is calling? [ she looks pointedly at coulson and it's clear this is 100% nosy-ness ]

[ she looks skittishly to coulson then back. ]

Just ... let them know we're coming. [ to coulson, she says. ] Lis'sa's usually in her office, we can just head back.

[unhappily]

I don't think so. [ regina twirls a wrist in her direction. make a will save, skye! ]

[hacker]

What — [ will 18! ]

[unhappily]

[ annnd locked in a state of sudden hold person paralysis over there. coulson reaches into his suit jacket, but regina is too fast, winding off a second spell in an instant. he freezes beside her, as regina's hand drops to the phone. ]

Circumstances being what they are, letting you waltz right in seems like the best way for me to get fired around here.

[ she waits for whoever she rang to answer before saying: ] We have a ... situation here.

[hacker]

Regina, what the hell is your problem!?

[ she'll ... try again to get free with a 20. ]

[unhappily]

I suggest you freeze. [ skye breaks free just barely, and regina drops the phone and raises a hand to cast a stunning bolt at her (ranged touch 19, subdual dmg 28 if it hits) ]

[hacker]

[ instinct takes over and she dodges. narrowly. too narrowly. ]

You really don't want to do this. I'm on your side.

[unhappily]

Then prove it, by standing down. [ a small flame abruptly materializes in her palm but she holds it there, raising an eyebrow at them. coulson is... still frozen. ] Until they get here.

[hacker]

I'm not the one attacking!

[unhappily]

You can't just barge in here with a stranger, declaring your allegiance to some other group and expect me to let you by. I stopped you. That's my job.

[hacker]

I didn't need stopping. In case you forgot, I'm a knight.

[ not just some lousy desk squire!!! ]

You identified yourself as an Agent. There's a lot of questions about loyalty going around right now. Maybe consider yourself a Knight first. [ but fiiine, she'll wave her hand and drop the spell. coulson reaches up to rub his jaw ]

[ regina is totally forgotten in favor of looking coulson over for injury. ]

I just feel like it's an impressive level of dedication to the job. [ this is his way of saying he recognizes that wynn's knights are kinda cray cray skye but that he doesn't think this is a fight worth having with her right now. bigger fish to fry. and here comes one down the hall...
