Hasmed's announcement does not brook any rebuttal: all Knights are recalled to the Castle, where they must remain until the Section Heads and Jack Chessing have spoken about the events in Los Angeles that have left the Knighthood without their usual leader.  

The entire Los Angeles area is now covered with a dark miasma that has interfered with any signals that might be sent out from phones, etc., leaving the whole world wondering what exactly is happening down there.  Final images showed horrendous monsters, a panic of citizens, looting and violence from humans and Shadowkind alike.  

Hasmed has warned of extra magical wards on the castle, and anyone arriving will immediately take notice of one very prominent one: above the entire roof of the excessively large building hovers a black and red sigil in the air, a pentagram in a circle surrounded by runes or words in an unknown language, stretching for miles.  

[ This is the social log for post-LA lockdown.  Failboat must complete the top log before being allowed to tag outside of it. ]

[She shakes her head.] No, he's the one who found the real killer and proved my innocence.

They knew you were innocent, and you still left?

[nojedi]

They would have taken me back, but it was too late. I'd seen what they really were like.

[She glances down.]

And leaving probably saved my life.

[forcevisions]

And you're leaving again? Just like that?

[nojedi]

I'm not going to watch it happen again. [She shakes her head.] I'd stop it if I could. But no one will listen to me. Hasmed assured me this was nothing like what happened with the Jedi, but he's wrong.

I know we have to stop what's happening now. I just fear the path we're taking will lead to something even worse.

[forcevisions]

I wish you'd stay.

[ she blurts it out because there's no reason not to. she hardly knows this woman, but so far, she's the only person who has been able to give tangible information to her about the jedi. and she'd been right here, all along. ]

[nojedi]

I'm sorry. [she gives the other girl a measuring look.] You could come with me, if you wanted. There can't be many people here who can train you in the ways of the Force.

[forcevisions]

[ you'd be surprised, ahsoka. at this rate, any day now, she'll start a reality show for it, bachelorette style.

but it is hard to pass up. getting to understand herself better. and ahsoka makes good points. she knows more than rey does. rey hesitates, wrestles with it. ]

I'm sorry. There are people here who need me.

[nojedi]

[Ahsoka looks briefly disappointed, but she nods. She does understand. If she had more people here, or maybe even if she'd met Rey sooner, this would have been a harder decision.]

Here. [She digs into her pocket.] Let me give you my... email I think it's called on this planet. I registered one outside of the Knights' domain just in case. If you ever change your mind, you can find me.

[ that only makes her decision harder. then she realizes she's been rude and pats down her own pockets, grabbing her phone. it, unlike ahsoka's email, is knight-issue. ]
