[ Kenzi had threatened Paige with a ladies night and of course, if anyone needed a night out it was Bo. The fact that there's also a talking Tree, a drinking Raccoon and... Drax? It's Kenzi. Why is anyone shocked by the people that she spends time with? She has ideas and they spin out of control and you just sort of hang on for the ride. It's her way. She may have casually mentioned they were coming here to a few other people, so if you happen to show up as well? The more the merrier.

The location itself isn't exactly filled with the garish glitz and glamor that a person generally associates with Vegas. Pandora has a British Pub meets modern day speakeasy feel to it. It's known for its signature cocktails with names like Panty Dropper and the Hot Little Mess and you can always count on live entertainment in the form of dancers, magicians, a band and of course, a DJ. It also happens to be one of the few clubs that has an open door policy where Shadowkind are concerned. Whether they'll be rethinking said policy after tonight? We just don't know. ]

[ There is a part of Kenzi that registers that this is basically, the exact opposite of lowkey right now? But come on. Groot made glow orbs! How cool is this shit?

She gets a similar childlike expression on her face, only Kenzi's is full of wonder and awe as she reaches out like she's going to touch one of those lights, only to allow her fingers to hover in front of it as she follows its slow descent.

And then she snaps out of it because... ix-nay on the adowkind-shay. ]

Nobody told me this was one of those fancy light show clubs... [ Smiling too bright at the crowd and then at Groot. ] The shit they can do these days. Amirite?!

[ More quietly, to Groot. ] Dude... you made lights.

Sounds like this is a pretty important song to you, though. One would say... Life changing, even? I mean... if it were never written, then maybe you wouldn't have had that revelation when you heard it. You could have never spoken to your family and then... you really could have ended up frozen out - or worse still, backing down and not doing the thing that was right for you because you were worried about what they'd think.

[ It's almost impressive how she can have this go in a very different direction to how she had planned it and yet still make it fit in for the point she was going to make. ]

[ With that measly str 9 her puny arms stand no chance at fighting him off and he's rewarded with a peal of laughter that fills the air as her body tries to buck and squirm against his assault. It is accepted headcanon that Kenzi is insanely ticklish so she's so very clearly at his mercy that she should just stop, right?

Busted's not the problem. SHIELD stole the engine, and the materials to replace it aren't exactly available at ACE Hardware.

Dude. You're lookin' at one of the best if not the best engineer in the galaxy, and also a master thief. Maybe this is the heist that brings us together as a group.

[ her words are ironically cut off by more smooches and tickles and laughs until he actually gets caught up in kissing her, and his hand runs more firmly up her side as his own chuckles recede into an appealing noise. his lips break away as he says against hers: ] I see how it is. That's the last time I ask you out. [ as he... kisses her again and gives a completely muffled: ] Missed your chance.

[ his eyebrows lift a little at that, and the wheels visibly spin in his head, as he glances left and right before leaning in over his drink ] Can you keep a secret?

[Debatable.] If this involves what I think it involves, hell yeah I can.

[ The teasing falls away beneath the pressure of his lips as her arms move to wind around his neck. Their limbs tangled in the twist of their bodies as she gets pulled into that kiss with her smile still lingering between them. ] Noo! [ Her eyes fly open, dramatically wide as her grip on him tightens. Kenzi still protesting despite the continued kisses until she can wrestle herself to stop... responding to them... long enough to attempt: ] I want to date you.

We're trying to get it back through legitimate channels, but if they won't play ball... some of us are going to find a way in.

[ the words stop him from making out with her for a moment again, and he pulls back enough to look at her face and get a read on if she means it or not, his lips curved upwards in a suddenly smugly delighted expression ] I know. [ did he just han solo you really shittily? yes he did ]

She barely even tries to hide her grin as her hand slides up his neck. Her fingers slipping through his hair as she cups the back of his head and encourages him to get back to the kissing. ]

[ that's exactly how he would imagine his dream woman to respond so clearly he just made her up. maybe he created her with his celestial powers. we just don't know. either way, he is very happy to oblige (and remembers the condom yw), letting her pull him back in as they make love for like the millionth time in this 24 hour period.

eventually, as the day has rolled by with fantastic sex and cuddles and laughter, one of them will have to find their way out of the bed, if not to get something to eat. peter lets kenzi recover between the sheets while he hops in the shower, and he comes back out with just his pants on, shirt in one hand and his phone in another keeping him distracted enough to let her get to appreciate the view still as he frowns at the screen ]

[ Kenzi is clearly in favor of never leaving this bed as she lazily scans the room service menu. Her clothes are still scattered across the floor and getting decent involves her half covering herself with a rumpled sheet that smells like champagne.

The menu is immediately forgotten as he emerges from the bathroom and she does little to disguise the fact that she's enjoying that view as he steps out without his shirt. It's possible she's contemplating stealing all of his shirts so that he just has to permanently get around like that.

But then she catches that frown and sits up straighter, concern touching the corners of her mouth. ]

I don't like that face. [ Grimacing slightly as she crawls towards the end of the bed. ] What's wrong?

[starprince]

[ he looks up, his expression uncertain ] ... It's Malina. She talked to Coulson about my ship. [ he moves to sit on the edge next to her ]

[beatupgrass]

[Rocket shrugs.] So then we do something else. Pretty sure you're adaptable and me? Well. The Knights have done some good for me, can't deny that, but I could go back to doin' my own thing now that I got Groot back.

[a beat.] Our own thing. We'd basically have a whole crew on the lam.
