[ Kenzi had threatened Paige with a ladies night and of course, if anyone needed a night out it was Bo. The fact that there's also a talking Tree, a drinking Raccoon and... Drax? It's Kenzi. Why is anyone shocked by the people that she spends time with? She has ideas and they spin out of control and you just sort of hang on for the ride. It's her way. She may have casually mentioned they were coming here to a few other people, so if you happen to show up as well? The more the merrier.

The location itself isn't exactly filled with the garish glitz and glamor that a person generally associates with Vegas. Pandora has a British Pub meets modern day speakeasy feel to it. It's known for its signature cocktails with names like Panty Dropper and the Hot Little Mess and you can always count on live entertainment in the form of dancers, magicians, a band and of course, a DJ. It also happens to be one of the few clubs that has an open door policy where Shadowkind are concerned. Whether they'll be rethinking said policy after tonight? We just don't know. ]

[ the words stop him from making out with her for a moment again, and he pulls back enough to look at her face and get a read on if she means it or not, his lips curved upwards in a suddenly smugly delighted expression ] I know. [ did he just han solo you really shittily? yes he did ]

[ Only Peter Quill, could end up in bed with the one woman who could not only see what he just did (know pc 23) but is utterly delighted by it.

She barely even tries to hide her grin as her hand slides up his neck. Her fingers slipping through his hair as she cups the back of his head and encourages him to get back to the kissing. ]

Shut up and lay me already. [ Star wars sex puns. This is the content you're all here for. ]

[ that's exactly how he would imagine his dream woman to respond so clearly he just made her up. maybe he created her with his celestial powers. we just don't know. either way, he is very happy to oblige (and remembers the condom yw), letting her pull him back in as they make love for like the millionth time in this 24 hour period.

eventually, as the day has rolled by with fantastic sex and cuddles and laughter, one of them will have to find their way out of the bed, if not to get something to eat. peter lets kenzi recover between the sheets while he hops in the shower, and he comes back out with just his pants on, shirt in one hand and his phone in another keeping him distracted enough to let her get to appreciate the view still as he frowns at the screen ]

[ Kenzi is clearly in favor of never leaving this bed as she lazily scans the room service menu. Her clothes are still scattered across the floor and getting decent involves her half covering herself with a rumpled sheet that smells like champagne.

The menu is immediately forgotten as he emerges from the bathroom and she does little to disguise the fact that she's enjoying that view as he steps out without his shirt. It's possible she's contemplating stealing all of his shirts so that he just has to permanently get around like that.

But then she catches that frown and sits up straighter, concern touching the corners of her mouth. ]

I don't like that face. [ Grimacing slightly as she crawls towards the end of the bed. ] What's wrong?

[ he looks up, his expression uncertain ] ... It's Malina. She talked to Coulson about my ship. [ he moves to sit on the edge next to her ]

[ She understood the moment he said the name, Kenzi tracking him as he comes to sit on the edge of the bed. Reading that uncertainty and not hesitating to reach out and run a hand down his back as if to soothe him. ]

Whatever they said... it won't change anything.

[ Because clearly, like he was when he told her? She's not optimistic about them just giving it back after all these years. ]

Thief. Remember. [ In case it weren't already painfully clear that she was on board for any way she could help, not just... trying to rope Andrew into hacking S.H.I.E.L.D. ]

[ he tilts his phone to show her the text and his response ] What do you think? If you ask me, that sounds like trying to soften a blow.

[ I mean. It would look super worrisome to her if she thought they were being bugged at S.H.I.E.L.D. but she hasn't freaked out about her accidental sex tape yet so she clearly does not. That said... if you thought somebody was about to go Postal on a place, you probably wouldn't want them around it. ]

Maybe... [ She won't take away his hope but she won't give it to him just to see him disappointed either. ] The Hotel has a bar?

[ Because it never once occurs to her that she shouldn't encourage him to meet her right away, even if they are in the middle of their two-day sex marathon. ]

[ he glances up at her, the conflict visible behind his eyes ] Do you mind if I --? I mean, just long enough to find out what they told her.

[ That conflict... if she weren't already gone. She meets his gaze, wanting him to know there's no trace of insecurity or disappointment in her eyes as she speaks. ]

I didn't point that out so we could get a drink. [ A small half smile touching her lips. ] I'm not going anywhere.

[ And there could be other nights in Hotels if it needed to take longer. ]

Unless - [ She hesitates, more because she doesn't want to push herself in on this. ] I mean I can come with you? If you want.

I'm fine with it, if she doesn't care. [ and he'll send off a text to ask, grateful that she's willing and not hiding it ]

[ Her smile lifts up a little more and she smothers it by pressing a kiss to his shoulder, still lightly running her hand up and down his back as she watches him text - watches him, to make sure he's alright. ]

Whatever you need. [ As if it's just, that simple. He had enough to worry about without trying to factor her into it. ]

She doesn't mind. [ he shoots her the address and slips the phone in his pocket, before getting to his feet to find where he dropped that shirt. ] Come on. We can wait for her downstairs.

[ And she's... still wearing a sheet and her clothes are still littered all over the floor. Yeah, this is going to be a great first meeting. ]

Just... give me five to not look like booze and sex. [ And she'll just casually collect her clothes and disappear into the bathroom to quickly clean up. ]
