[ Kenzi had threatened Paige with a ladies night and of course, if anyone needed a night out it was Bo. The fact that there's also a talking Tree, a drinking Raccoon and... Drax? It's Kenzi. Why is anyone shocked by the people that she spends time with? She has ideas and they spin out of control and you just sort of hang on for the ride. It's her way. She may have casually mentioned they were coming here to a few other people, so if you happen to show up as well? The more the merrier.

The location itself isn't exactly filled with the garish glitz and glamor that a person generally associates with Vegas. Pandora has a British Pub meets modern day speakeasy feel to it. It's known for its signature cocktails with names like Panty Dropper and the Hot Little Mess and you can always count on live entertainment in the form of dancers, magicians, a band and of course, a DJ. It also happens to be one of the few clubs that has an open door policy where Shadowkind are concerned. Whether they'll be rethinking said policy after tonight? We just don't know. ]

[Groot gently reaches toward Rocket, picking him up and placing him on his shoulder.

[He starts to walk off the dance floor. If Rocket is concerned about that kind of thing, then he's not going to make it worse.]

[Okay, okay. This is... exactly where he belongs, and he's just gonna get comfortable. He can deal with this. Also he can see the entire dance floor from here so that's cool. What he doesn't see is Quill.] Huh. I guess Quill screwed off. Y'know, I think he's comin' around to us, buddy.

Yeah, I kinda ran into him. He finally broke down and gave me the whole sob story about how he's afraid he can't live up to the legacy of our Quill.

[Yeah, that's the... Tall Tales version, I guess.] I told him there ain't no legacy to live up to, and I guess that made him feel better.

[Groot seems to have no outward emotional reaction to that because he's basically just thinking 'duh.' Quill is just Quill.]

He wants to be. I think. [He glances suspiciously around and then lowers his head so he can whisper into Groot's... whatever passes for ears.]

He's invited me to work on the Milano if those jerks at SHIELD cough it up, and if they don't...

[A wide smile spreads across Groot's face.

It's almost as if he wants to see these SHIELD people tell them no.]

Exactly! And, not gonna lie, I'm kinda hopin' for that option. It's been a long time since we've had a good heist. My skills are gettin' rusty.

[It's for the best SHIELD is giving the Milano back because wow Rocket.]

[Groot simply gives a slight shrug of his shoulders in response. Is it a possibility? Maybe.

Is he totally going to steal back Peter's ship anyway if they need to? Absolutely.]

[Rocket sighs in what feels like the first true bliss since he crossed the Veil into this world, like something finally clicked and he can relax just a bit even if he's sure one wrong move and they'll be fighting their way out of some kind of camp before the night's over.]
