The Enclave houses a room for Knights briefings, although it requires nothing more than a simple slide of the keycard to enter - lacking some of the pageantry of the castle, certainly. Instead of the ancient table and giant, impressive crystal dragon statue, they are faced with a simple set of office furniture, that, while probably more comfortable, seems to drive home their displacement. Still, the room hosts some impressive technology, closer to what the Knights' downtown London briefing room had to offer, complete with a holoscreen.

A message is set out to several Knights that a briefing awaits... And Sir Solace stands ready to deliver the assignment. Edain sits at the table, his feet up on the chair beside him, and his sword leaning against the table.

You are quite on time, Sir Feste. Thank you. I'll make this brief. We've been called upon to investigate a string of disappearances happening in Colorado. There is some concern from the locals that it might be the fault of Shadow creatures, as there have been sightings of all sorts of beasts heading west towards the former Los Angeles region. These seem to be situated specifically in a forest region, popular with hikers and sightseers. There seems to be no clear connection between those who have gone missing.

How many is a string?

They're up to seven now, certainly cause for concern. One was a family of three. Another, a couple camping. The other two were individual cases.

Were there any indication of what kinds of beasts they might be? Were they all similar types of beast or ... a wide collection to choose from?

Quite a variety, similar to reports we've been hearing across the country, really.
