[But he made fun of her during the truth giving ): Her delicate man pride is wounded. She goes quiet after that and looks away, and turns as if she's going to just awkwardly walk right on out of the room and leave him alone. But she doesn't, and she just stands there, standing up entirely too tall and with her head held high.]

Deep down, I could have wanted to be thought of as more than a friend. It would have explained why you sent a message asking how I was doing.
