[ Solace is a busy man, it seems, and difficult to reach, but he finally leaves word for Scout to meet him at the end of a shift spent in the recovery room upstairs. It's quiet when she enters, a few Knights resting in beds as he moves between them, robes dusting the ground. ]

Understatement. [Scout blinks and shakes her head slightly, dismissing her half-horrified feeling.] That's to teach squires how to work with the Knights, then?

And to decide whether it's the life they truly wish to lead.

Our organization has procedures and protocols but we aren't a military group, and those who come here seek growth in many ways. Not all of them seek to be soldiers or scholars or healers. Everyone becomes somewhat responsible for self-directing their path.

I'm starting to figure that out. [She's progressed in stretching to standing on one foot with the other leg bent sharply at the knee, held in place with one hand. Doesn't wobble at all.]

Are there going to be - set times to talk to me if you n- if that's needed, or should I just come find you?

Or written messages - texts. You call them texts. Those are okay too? I'll try not to ask things I can't find out from the orderlies.

[Her desire to respect authority seems to clash a little with her desire to have some say, take some charge in a situation.]
