With Dumage MIA and not responding to her phone, the girls quickly got ready for an evening at the home of the exceptionally talented singer who had dragged them in front of the audience at Notturno. Gar looks nice, if subtly so, in a mid-length red dress and simple make-up (11 Disguise check which is what I use for people prettyifying up). Kat's own attempts to do her make-up when left unaided in the bathroom left her coming out looking like Rocky Raccoon, unhappily smeared in blush and metallic eyeshadows (crit fail :( ), but after the other girls helped salvage her (15), she looks really pretty, though still not wearing anything remotely close to a dress. Ever.

The girls take a ride outside of town, driving through Veneto at breakneck speeds, because someone let Kat drive (check 17). What should be an hour's journey takes them half that time, and they pull up to the impressive sight of a dual story white and red villa that all but screams luxury.

[ gar swoops in to cover quickly with a much much much smoother: ] We were hoping to find the rooms Mr. Giovanni offered for us for the night, so we might begin getting ready for bed.

[ hiro watches myri for an unnervingly long moment before bowing and gesturing back down the hallway ] If you will follow me.

[Myri gulps and looks at Kat and Gar before following him. What else can they do? Cooperating is the best way to avoid suspicion. Plus, they can probably play it off as just fans snooping instead of Knights snooping... right?]

[ Kat frowns, but shrugs and tails along, glancing over her shoulder in every open door she can as she walks by. ] Pretty classy digs, b-t-w. Not that we couldn't tell from the outside. But still. Surprised he can afford all this, not signing with a major label and all. [ c wut she did thar ]

Some of the house was financed by Signorina Alessandro. [ he states it simply, as if he need say no more. and pauses in front of a couple doors, gesturing. ] Your rooms.

[Well, that makes sense, seeing as Myri is convinced that Rafael and Isabella are ~together~ ... even if she does feel bad for him because of it.]

Thank you. [She says, trying to smile before opening one of the doors to see what's inside. She assumes he won't leave until he sees them head in.]

Each room has a bathroom as well, all furnished. [ he bows again and then pauses at the door before adding, meaningfully ] If you require something more from the kitchen, I will gladly provide it.

I -- I think we're quite well now, thank you. [ hiro nods and closes the door, leaving them alone. gar immediately leans back against the door, sighing and plunking her head backwards against it, while saying in a low voice: ]

Why'd you tell him nothing from the kitchen? I bet they have some epic desserts lying around. [ kat does a swan dive onto the bed, bouncing as she lands ] Maybe the Talisman would be baked in a cake. Bingo: mission over.

[Myri smiles at Kat's suggestion, but answers Gar in her own quieted voice.]

It is probably for the best. Perhaps once Buffy returns and everyone has gone to bed? There will be more people in the house, but I do not think we should not tempt fate right now.

Greeeat. So, shut-ins, it is. [ and she pulls out her tablet from... somewhere. Who even knows. ] Internet, sweet internet, looks like it's you and me.

[Myri nods and heads into her own room. AND LATER MAKES AN ADORABLE PHONE CALL TO BIDE THE TIME.]
