For as much as Faye put on the dumb, one-track-mind girl act with a lot of the castle's men, she really had a lot more in mind than sleeping with every Knight she met. Sex was a tool to be used to meet an end. But it wasn't the only tool she had at her disposal. She was learning about magic, after all. Well... not so much learning, as figuring it out as she went. Magic would be her tool one day. But she had to learn to properly wield it.

There was also a great deal to learn about the castle. She hadn't taken much time to have a look around before, so now that she was back and more of the mindset to learn her surroundings, she was making up for her previous mistakes. She was being leisurely with it, strolling down the halls, one hand trailing fingertips against the wall. As she ran her hands over a door, she stopped.

Looking at it, it didn't seem any different, but something made her stop. She looked around, making sure the coast was clear before grabbing the handle and turning. The door opened and Faye stepped inside. This was a lot like sending a kid into a candy shop- except instead of kids and candy it was a witch and magical supplies. She probably wasn't supposed to be in here- considering she hardly knew what she was doing with magic. And considering that, she probably should have thought to close the door behind her...

Oh well.

"Instinct." She says with a shrug. "I'm guessing now one had to really tell you how to run faster, right? Your legs just knew what to do. Once you get the basics down, you just let your body do the rest."

As she spoke, she was grabbing items, seemingly at random, walking around the room and adding small things to a growing collection in her hands.

"Well, yeah, but I still had training. Dad and I worked on technique, like, every day." Andie watched a little apprehensively and wondered if any of the items Faye had grabbed were liable to explode if handled wrong. Probably best she stuck around to make sure.

"Maybe I did too." She tapped her temple. "Memory wipe kinda makes that hard to remember, though." With a sufficient collection, Faye took her armful to a nearby table, setting them out in a managed chaos. She reached out to a nearby candle and touched the wick, lighting it magically. With a grin, she turned back to Andie.

"You can leave if you're scared to see what happens."

Andie shrugged. "I'm faster than magic." She paused and thought about it. "Probably. And I might have to haul you away to safety! I'm sticking around."

"You think you're faster than everything." She retorted while adding a pinch of this and that. "It's going to bite you in the ass someday."

That's... probably the closest to friendly advice that Faye will ever offer.

It didn't really phase Andie, though. Nothing had been fast enough to catch her so far, so she didn't see any reason to sit around worrying about what could. "What spell are you trying to do?"

"Not sure." She replied honestly. "There's something in me that just tells me that this will do... something." Her magic was inherent, not learned- or at least not learned from books.

"Sometimes I just think of words, and when I say them, things happen. I'm thinking it might work the same with this stuff."

Andie nodded, eyes wide, still not sure this would go at all well, but far too curious to leave or stop her. "Okay. I hope it's not something bad."

As she was adding another ingredient, Faye stopped, hand poised over the mixture.

"Leaf and air to grow and fly. Water fill from sea to sky. Ember burn, all seeing eye."

Smoke rose from the mixture, swirling up and up until the space between the two girls is filled with the murky screen. Slowly, the smoke started to form a picture... And it was a room on the other end of the castle.

Andie gasped as the smoke started rising, then her mouth dropped open in surprise at the picture the smoke formed. "Oh my god, that is so cool! What else can you make?"

She stepped back and admired her handiwork. The image was smokey but clear enough to make out a few of the Knights passing by. Faye watched with pride etched into her features.

"Anything. Everything." It was a boast, but right now, she felt like she was invincible.

Andie watched thoughtfully for a moment, long enough that the pause was actually noticeable, then glanced back up at Faye.

"Wanna see something freaky?"

Faye arched an eyebrow. "Sure. Why not? Watching you get freakier is becoming a hobby of mine." She shrugged and walked away from her spell, not caring about putting anything back where she found it.
