[They probably spent awhile out looking for ~the perfect restaurant~, because Finnick is … well, a perfectionist like that. He wanted someplace classy but not pretentious-classy. And someplace with seafood. Eventually he decided on this Chinese place even though he doesn't know what the fuck that is. Maybe he ate some recently in New Orleans and thought it was neat. Whatever, they have seafood and that is what matters. Watch him take on this crab like a boss.]

[He's been a little quiet up to this point, mostly because he has a tendency to be chronically on edge, despite however much fun he may be having. Currently it's out of worry for someone ~recognizing him~ while he's out with Myri and something happening to her. Look he's seen rabid fangirls attacking Justin Bieber's girlfriends on Twitter.]

[She looks at him curiously, as if she isn't sure if she believe him about the taste. Taking her fork, she picks up a small piece of crab meat and gingerly tastes it.]

I take it you had food like this back home?

Yes, it was pretty common. [with that, he goes back to eating his crab and pretending not to notice all her blushing, figuring that might make it easier for her to keep talking to him.] I used to help my family fish for these.

I stayed in fishing villages a few times in my travels. I can't say I've seen anything like this. [Good move, Finnick. She can't make eye contact with him for a few seconds, but Myri calms her nerves again.]
