[ tia's seated with her legs curled up underneath her, reading something on a tablet... and a spot check of 17 might notice even from across the plane that she looks a bit teary-eyed. ]

[With a Spot of 8, Thoster is completely oblivious to her tearful reading. But that doesn't stop him from unceremoniously flopping himself into the seat beside her.]

Any idea how long we're trapped up here?

[He still does no like being in the air and... may or may not be drunk.]

[ she deftly puts the tablet facedown and swipes the tears out before turning to look at him with a little smile ] Just a few more hours, Sir Chatwyn. Think you can hold your lunch until then?

First thing you have to learn is that m'name is Thoster. Might as well get comfortable calling me by it now. Second thing is that I learned how to hold my liquor before I learned to talk.

I wasn't aware 'lunch' and 'liquor' were the same thing. I suppose I shouldn't jump to conclusions.

[With a spot of 19, Miles definitely notices. He has a seat nearby, trying not to get too much up in her business.]

Tears don't suit a pretty face like yours. What's wrong?

[ she glances up, looking surprised for some reason, and smiles a tiny bit ] Oh, it's... I just hadn't had a lot of time for catching up on the news lately. I was reading some articles about what happened in the States, at that elementary school...

[He glances at the tablet (spot: 14), not because he doesn't believe her, but because he hasn't been paying attention to the new either.]

Anyone that hurts kids is the worst kind of villain if you ask me.

[ the headlines sum up the tragedy for him, but she's specifically looking at articles about the teacher who sacrificed themselves for their students. ]

So far I've never had to deal with one of those on a mission. If I did...

[Hey buddy. Francesca notices the tears, but she will happily ignore them and keep this trip as comfortable as possible.] So, what do you expect from Milosovici? I fear, from a rational standpoint, that after being officially crowned he'll only be more despicable and arrogant.

[telekinection]

[ she appreciates it, dude. and lets out a groan at the suggestion. ]

If there was one thing he wasn't short on, it was ego. My biggest worry is that he's going to actually think he can childishly stop pretending to be civil in the least.

It wouldn't be surprising though. I would expect as much from anyone who assumes the role of a king. Especially in the world today. The reason I refuted the idea of going undercover is because someone that power-hungry is going to be beyond paranoid, even around those he trusts.

So, cards on the table. At least most of them.

It's hard to believe people finding a monarchy preferable to being free of one, but I suppose that gives us some idea how bad things actually got.

[Thoster's drumming and humming, keeping himself busy and nursing a drink. He's a bit of a nervous flier, so if he's not up and walking around the cabin, he's banging on the armrests, singing some old tavern song to himself.]

[Andie's not a nervous flier, she's just a little claustrophobic. Comes from not being able to run everywhere ever when that's what she's used to. She's moving a little faster than she should and doesn't slow down quite fast enough and whoops crashed into Thoster a little. Hope he wasn't too attached to that drink!]

[Welp. It's a good thing he likes Andie. Anyone else would be getting an earful. As it is, Thoster just laughs.]

[There's the usual little blush because she still gets flustered over being called beautiful.] Not always... great at planes. Way too small and too slow.

We have that in common. Traveling like this... ain't natural.

[Francesca will try to distract Thoster before his nervous habits becoming annoying. She slides into the seat next to him, getting down to business.] I believe I'm overseeing your activity on this mission. I'm sure there's a lot Val'drin left out of your inital squire training, but you seem quite able on your own. Is there anything you're especially curious about that I might be able to provide an answer for?

[It's probably for the best that she does. He's bound to burst into song soon.]

Nice enough fellow, but you're right- left me to my own devices. Not that I mind.

[He ponders her question.] Nothing jumps to mind. Anything you think I should be curious about? [He grins at her.]

You just struck me as the curious type. I suppose I didn't want to feel lost, but you seem to have a good sense of direction. [She gives him a little wink.]

[As always, Andie is not the poster child for patience. She flits up and down the aisle anxiously, occasionally settling down to flit through a book so fast she tears some pages or attempt to focus on music.

Anyone want to try and get her to sit still? Cause good luck.]

[Francesca just smiles at Andie's attempts to settle down, amused by the girl. When she finally manages to catch her at a fleeting down moment, she speaks up.] If only the plane could run on your energy. Travel would be much more convenient.

[Andie had certainly considered the possibility, which is why she answers completely seriously:] I couldn't carry all of you. Maybe one at a time, but I'd get tired going that far with so much weight, and I don't think it would be faster all together.

At least you recognize your limits. [She chuckles lightly as she speaks before settling on a fond smile.] It's easy to forget someone like you would have them.
