WHO || Wynn, any and all Knights not currently on missions (Slovechnia group will be returned by this point!)ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.
WHAT || Squiring Ceremony Afterparty
WHERE || Knights Headquarters, the Ballroom
WHEN || Feb 1st, 2013, 6:00PM
HOW || Prose OR Actionspam
The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).
The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.
Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.
Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

"Besides, David's here apparently not under a sleeping curse anymore, and Mary-Margaret came through the portal with me, so there's a good chance she's out there somewhere too. The knights are my best chance of finding her again." She looked back at Hook, shaking her head. "I didn't have much else tying me to Storybrooke." Or any other part of that world, for that matter. That's how it worked with orphans who'd grown up into loners.

"I don't have a kid. I don't know where you got the impression that I did, but it's wrong." Her tone was serious and cool in a way that made it clear she wasn't going to humor any of his attempts to push this.

"Right. My mistake."

And it genuinely occurred to her that maybe he did mean that kid. The one she'd given up. That maybe she was passing up on her chance to ever find it and get to know it by not fighting like hell to get back. But, she couldn't conceive a situation where she might have gotten to meet that child. It was a closed adoption, she didn't even have a name - of him, or his parents. He wasn't her kid - he was theirs.
More than that, she couldn't imagine a single reason why she should be able to do what hundreds, thousands, had already failed to. They'd been forced to live out their lives here. It was time she accepted it and set about finding her mother, who'd had to have come through with her somewhere.
"I need some air." She said it quickly and decisively after only a short beat to let all of this pass through her head lightning-fast, more feeling than actual sorted thought, and she turned to move past him to head for the doors out into the courtyard.
