[ Vi actually gets a text message from her Knight inviting her to come 'chillax upstairs' in one of the comfortable rec rooms near the Dragon's Hide wing. When she makes her way up there, a blonde in combat boots is slumped in a couch, playing X-Box and swearing up a storm into her headset. A small black cat is curled up apparently sleeping on a pillow beside her. ]

Yeah, well why don't you hop a flight and come say that to my foot in your ass? GO DIE IN A CAR CRASH.

I guess I just always figured those gods were actually... myths since they didn't last. But I suppose maybe they were just... [ wait ] So how old are you?

I turn 26 in a couple of months. They gods tend to stick around, they're really vain. And you know, Hades' job sort of doesn't end. So I guess, unless people stop dying, he's still in business.

Still, when did it start raining half-gods? [ wait a tic ] You don't have, like, a celestial hook up with the elven pantheon by any chance, do you?

Tuesday. [See, Vi heard hook up and elven in the same sentence and her brain just went in the complete opposite direction of where it probably should have gone. Who knew she'd be a sucker for guys with pointy ears.] Uh, sorry, what was the question?

Do you personally know any of the Selda-whatever? The elf gods? Because we sort of ... have this on-going mission featuring the daughter of one and there are a lot of things we could use some divine insight on.

Huh? [Did she just say Zelda?] I'm gonna have to go with no on that one, not ringing any bells. I know a couple smoking hot elves though, I would very happily pump them for information.

TMI aside, that's a bummer. I was sorta hoping we might get a divine "in" with Sehanine.

We're sorta dealing with amnesiac daughter, who's a half-mortal, like you, I guess. Really not a fun job.

Well, skills. Skills. I can ride a three headed poodle. I've never met a pithy comment in the face of danger I didn't like. I kind of have a green thumb. I'm pretty sure I can quote Harry Potter word for word.

Do I have to be serious? I'm a master archer and swordswoman, basically all the Roman things. There's probably a list on wikipedia.

Much like the little dude in the taco commercial, I pose the age old question: Why can't there be both?

Well, you can do as much as you want to be good at doing, but the distinctions are to help Wynn make up mission groupings. Trying to keep things balanced that sorta thing. And also so new people know where to go for advice on different things.

Well, it's not about where you start - more about where you want to end up, I guess. What kind of Knight you want to be.

I don't think I'm exactly nerdy enough for the Hoard-- [kjhdlkghlf FOR THE HOARD] --my nerd tends to run toward the amazing ability to quote Top Gun word for word.

I don't see it ever coming in handy, really. Unless it's a drinking contest and the last shot depends on knowing the words to You've Lost that Loving Feeling. Or I need to entertain myself for a couple hours.
