Spare me. [ she rolls her eyes, rolling up the book of crossword puzzles and slapping it against his legs, urging him out from behind the desk - or attempting to do so, using her presence to invade his space. ]

[That would work so much better if Hook comprehended personal space was a thing. He sits up, leaning up towards her like she's getting in his space cause she wants to get in his lap or something. Hey, it could happen.] It's been rather dull. Some poor sod nearly died, but besides that, nothing much's happened.

[He stands up, but he doesn't stop grinning.]

[Man, she is never gonna let him live that down. He moves around to the front of the desk so he can sit on it and flirt with her because after eight hours of desk duty he finally actually... wants to be here.]
