[Sometimes a dwarf needed the kind of good solid dwarven ale that they only served at a real Shadowkind bar, no matter how much the Knights tried to keep the good stuff on tap. Tonight is one of those nights, congratulating himself on the completion of a mission well done, and Dovan's taken himself out to the big city, to a little tucked away tavern that he considers a less-than-guilty pleasure. Guilt and drinking didn't really go hand in hand for his kind, after all.

Usually the place is rowdy and raucous at almost all hours, but tonight's something else entirely. The whole place is mid-song, cheering and pounding glasses on tables as they seem to all be craning their necks to try and see something going on closer to the bar itself. No one even really notices him enter and so his boistrous "MY LADS!" upon arrival is entirely ignored. He casts a curious eye over that way, waddling his way forward to try and see through gaps between bodies]

Well, I was privateer for awhile, but after I got my own berth I started with ah...I guess you could call it 'magical antiquities recovery' [She smirked]

[ironsides]

[He gives a hearty laugh at that] Well, if that isn't a new way of saying it!

[piratitude]

Sounds good on the tongue, right? And not as reputable as 'arifact hunting'. Well, not that reputable is really a concern. [She shrugs, smiling]

[ironsides]

Going to have to start from scratch here, though. No ship lyin' in wait.

[piratitude]

[She glances at the door] Yeah. Kinda figured. You, uh, wouldn't know where a girl can get work around here, would you?

[ironsides]

Lotsa places willing to help a Shadow Worlder find a place. I could direct ye to any of 'em.

[He considers her for a moment, before adding, gesturing with his mug] 'Less you're looking for somethin' a little more outta the ordinary: high adventure, that kinda thing. In which case, I might be able to help ye out too!

[piratitude]

[She raises a brow and leans forward, her hands clasped around her mug on the table] I'm listenin'.

[ironsides]

Can't say too much here. [He leans forward as well, the tips of his beard soaking into his mug as he does so] Group I'm with is secret from most people. But we help those of us like you and I, from the other world, keep outta trouble in this one. And protect these people from things they've never seen an' dealt with before.

[piratitude]

[Sounded like most commoners to her, but maybe there was a special kind of naivete in this world] Sounds like something I could get behind...if you feel like tellin' me more, that is...

[ironsides]

I could do ye better than that! I can show ye.

[piratitude]

[Andrea raises her brows, but smiles] Sounds like a plan.

[ironsides]

Well what are we waitin' around with this ugly lot fer, then? Let's go. [ He slaps his hand on the table, then... finishes draining his beer, before hopping down off his stool. ]
