briefing ♔ getting colder and colder the leaves are turning over

♬ Leaves - Ours
WHO || Wynn, Violet, Reynard, Robin, Koraith, Luthir, and Belle [Closed]
WHAT || Brazil Mission Briefing
WHERE || Knights HQ, the Round Table room
WHEN || Mon, March 25th, shortly before 5pm.
HOW || Actionspam. Single thread, don't worry about maintaining tagging order.

Just as before, accessing the secret room where the Round Table is housed requires using the Knight's access card to open the glass class beside the mural of the War in Heaven, located across from the ballroom entrance. Using the fire extinguisher as a lever to activate the "door" mechanism reveals the long torch-lit hall plastered in artworks depicting the Knight's history. The tenants of the Knighthood hang large and foreboding over the doors at the end of the hall, which stand open to reveal the brightly lit Round Table, and the majestic crystalline dragon statue presiding over it.

Come in, find a seat, meet your teammates if you haven't already. Luthir and Koraith are already there, super first to arrive, and sitting next to each other on the left hand side of the table. There's no sign of Wynn yet.

[ as luthir side-eyes vi and gives her the tiniest nod of greeting and recognition, the dragon-man lets out a very boistrous: ] Good afternoon! Lovely to meet you, dear, and to see you, Robin, as always. Excited to see some action, are we?
faeconman: (heh)

[personal profile] faeconman 2013-03-27 02:28 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Robin lets out a quiet laugh, amused both by Vi and Koraith. ]

I'm certainly curious.
smugfox: can't sit still (crouching)

[Reynard strolls in a little late (Lateness +3) and finds a chair near the others, sitting down and repressing the urge to pull his legs up. Sitting like a civilized person, he could do that. The grandness of the room alone makes him want to somehow work against the intimidating impression.]

Did I miss something?
untethered: (days go by)

[personal profile] untethered 2013-03-28 11:02 pm (UTC)(link)
[ there's one last slightly chagrined voice from the entrance as belle walks through and chimes in: ] I should hope not, since I fear to ask what they would mean I missed, arriving after you.
graveflowers: (smirk.)

[personal profile] graveflowers 2013-03-29 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
You missed me walking into a chair, that was good entertainment value.
smugfox: I dunno, mate... (you sure?)

[personal profile] smugfox 2013-03-30 05:22 am (UTC)(link)
With you arriving after me, Sir Belle, I'm sure neither of us missed anything. The day can't start until the sun arrives.

[So, yes, he's forgetting about how he hadn't meant to and pulling a leg up now, to rest his chin on his knee and turn to Vi.]

There's a reason to hurry next time. Do you plan on upping the performance at the end?

[Is he supposed to stand up when Wynn enters? All he does know is that his eyes hurt and he has to cover them with his hand, because of course he tried to see past the doors.]
faeconman: (considering you)

[personal profile] faeconman 2013-03-31 07:39 pm (UTC)(link)
[ (fort save 19) Robin manages to not get the blinding light right in his eyes and thus feels no discomfort, much as he might privately think that Reynard isn't the only one in the room that's putting on a little too much of a show.

Subtlety, anyone?

The look he gives Wynn however is just one of respectful attention.

graveflowers: (Ω nose crinkle.)

[Welp, Vi can see but just barely. (Fort save 16.) How rude.]

Sunglasses. Just a suggestion. What's on the agenda, oh fearless leader?
smugfox: just a nice guy (pleasant company)

[personal profile] smugfox 2013-04-03 02:39 pm (UTC)(link)
[Reynard grins at Vi, appreciating her quip, especially in this atmosphere.]

That's what I'd like to know. And where.
faeconman: (explaining things)

[personal profile] faeconman 2013-04-03 09:10 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not saying that I'm suggesting it, but is sabotage to be considered an acceptable option should the situation call for it to make the company temporarily cease what they are doing?

[ Yeah, he's totally suggesting it. ]
smugfox: brb, scheming (I see the potential)

[personal profile] smugfox 2013-04-03 09:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe you're not saying that you're suggesting, but I think your unsaid suggestion seems like a good way to go.

Only if the situation should call for it, of course.
graveflowers: (Ω conversation.)

[personal profile] graveflowers 2013-04-04 02:21 am (UTC)(link)
[Violet was going to suggest just violence (the term deforestation basically activates her earth warrior mode) but sabotage seems better. And since she thinks is grand, she's kind of dubious on whether is actually is or not.]

I'm all for personally kicking the asses of anyone that isn't a beaver cutting down a tree, but since I like it and my track record for good plans is complete crap, I'm going to have to say this is one of those "one does not simply walk into Mordor" moments. Like, maybe sabotage can be Plan B.
smugfox: aimless rambling can so have a goal (I do have a point)

[personal profile] smugfox 2013-04-08 11:43 pm (UTC)(link)
I think first we should just try to find out what the people there are like. Then we can decide how best to get to them.

[Among these people, maybe Reynard is actually the one most prone to plotting before acting.]
luthir: (pic#5895665)

[personal profile] luthir 2013-04-09 02:01 am (UTC)(link)
I imagine we could conduct some research on the way there, or, at the very least, perhaps find someone to ask about their character when we arrive.
faeconman: (considering you)

[personal profile] faeconman 2013-05-01 02:19 pm (UTC)(link)
It seems to me that the situation would require rather a lot of on-site investigation. Hard to judge much of anything from here.
koraith: (Default)

[personal profile] koraith 2013-05-01 08:46 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm afraid you're quite right. We'll have to keep our wits about us when we arrive!
