Just as before, accessing the secret room where the Round Table is housed requires using the Knight's keycard to open the glass case beside the mural of the War in Heaven, located across from the ballroom entrance. Using the fire extinguisher as a lever to activate the "door" mechanism reveals the long torch-lit hall plastered in artwork depicting the Knight's history. The tenants of the Knighthood hang large and foreboding over the doors at the end of the hall, which stand open to reveal the brightly lit Round Table, and the majestic crystalline dragon statue presiding over it.

Come in, find a seat, meet your teammates if you haven't already. Christos is already there, and sitting on the left hand side of the table, arms crossed, wearing his black cloak and looking grumpy as always. There's no sign of Wynn yet.

[ and in walks an unsmiling bald man in white robes, along with wynn. the two seemed to have been in conversation but they split ways as they enter the room, wynn walking to the far side of the table, and solace finding a seat two down from christos. ] I doubt you will find much cause for celebration in our mission, Sir Cuivre.

So, where are we headed?

To Nevada, in America, to a small suburban town called Wilhelm. What we're dealing with is actually potentially outside our usual area of specialization, but the mysterious nature of the occurrences there suggests it may be our type of investigation after all.

A number of families have reportedly been disappearing from the town, leaving no clues or signs of struggle and with no evidence as to where or why they vanished.

[Faye sits up a little straighter and leans forward against the table.]

Is this another weirdo cult? [Her last mission was a cult. She just assumes she's getting all the wack job cases now.]

There's no evidence to point to cult behavior, other than the number of families to which this has occurred. They appear to have taken no items from their homes upon leaving, or even vehicles.

So we're looking at... what... kidnappings? Seems like a lot of trouble to go to, not to take anything else.

['Their area' or not, it's families that are in trouble and that has Tybalt straightening back up and paying close attention.]

Is it always the whole family that goes missing? Ever any clues?

It is, always families. Which may be one of our clues. All of them had small children, younger than age ten.

[His frown deepens. Man, they weren't kidding about the nothing celebratory about this, were they.]

Gotta wonder if it's personal, if they're not taking any of their stuff, too. Or asking for ransom.

Relatives have indicated that no contact was made by any of the family members before the disappearances. They seem, by all accounts, to be occurring at night, the families gone by morning.

[Tybalt grit his teeth, festering a bit in his seat. No, there was definitely no cause for celebrating. He drummed his fingers lightly on the table and cleared his throat.]

Do they have anything more in common?

[He looks down at the table, forcing his hands still.]

I assume there haven't been any bodies...

Merely that which any families in a small suburb may have in common: their children attended the same school, the parents attended similar functions... but no striking commonalities besides.

Do we have any leads?

Only what we have spoke of. It may prove to be a difficult mission, as such.

Well, if it was going to be simple, we wouldn't be necessary.

Precisely. Otherwise it's likely that the local police could resolve the issue.

When do we leave?

[Because it sure as hell didn't seem like they were gonna get more information without getting there first.]

Within the week. A few days' time, to finish preparations.

[The sooner they leave, the sooner they can find these families. He's trying not to think too hard on in what state they might find them.]

There are a great deal of files to be sorted through and cross referenced, things our computer experts have pulled regarding every documented fact of these families' lives to search for patterns.
