All in all it had been a quite eventful and fun night, even if Kyla was still far from sure that she'd actually made a good decision when joining this organization. If anything her conduct so far had rather shown her to be... not exactly in line with that vow she took just a few hours ago?

Then again she'd met a person or two who didn't exactly fit the bill at first glance either, and Wynn did seem to be pretty open-minded, if a touch stiff. She actually rather liked the guy, though that way he had of making you feel as if he had some sort of plan for you was a little unnerving.

It made sens for people like Ruvaen to be in a place like this, they were made for it. They had purpose and ideals and actually cared about people who weren't themselves. Then there were people like her. And people like the delightful Alec, who seemed very promising indeed but now the question very much was if he could walk the walk as well as talk the talk.

Drinks had been had, Beau had been used to create a diversion (shush, releasing a hawk in the ballroom was an excellent idea)and beautiful ladies and gents had been flirted with, but now Kyla was ready to take the party somewhere else. Preferably where she could get even drunker than the rather pleasant buzz she was experiencing, and perhaps get out of this damn dress too.

Spotting Alec she wandered up to him with very little regard for what he might be doing, supremely confident that she was more interesting and entertaining than whatever (or whoever?) he was giving his attention to at the moment.

"Excuse me, damsel in distress over here in grave need of a knight in shining armour."

"Well if we do, I found the bar."

He had wandered off to explore the castle some with Klaus, earlier. Actual exploring. Not 'exploring'.

"Or we can see if we can raid a bottle or two and take it with us. You think they'd let us do that?"

He considers it for a moment and shakes his head, a grin back on his lips.

"More liquor after." He didn't want to get so drunk he had 'problems'. They could sneak off to the bar any time and really it had been too long for him, as well.

Albeit probably less frustration.

"They might make us go back to the party if they see us."

"Well then, yours, mine or just the first place that strikes our fancy?"

Kyla is good with words, but sometimes it's just best to be direct. Especially since she's begun to feel a nice tingle going all sorts of places just at the prospect of what might happen once they get somewhere reasonably private.

"I'm thinking yours."

His was far from romantic and Alec was hoping Kyla's room was a bit less... well. Dungeonesque. Some people might be into that but Alex wasn't one of them. Anything to do with chains or cages of whatever kind were far from a turn on.

"Less chance of being interrupted than taking the first door we run into."

Which would be his other plan, and he grins as he says it, because it is exactly the kind of thing Alec would do. Have sex in a strangers bed? Why not. Just don't get caught.

It's exactly the sort of thing Kyla would do as well. In fact it is the sort of thing Kyla has done on several occasions.

But first, she has to find out if he's as good a kisser as he looks like he is.
