Lis'sa meets the squires inside the laboratory, behind its "Biohazard" labelled doors. She doesn't really offer much of a greeting, or even introduce herself - just waits inside the strange multi-storied library section until everyone is gathered, and then instructs them to follow her up the steps.  A great deal of models are suspended from the ceiling that look like space age designs for jet planes, cars, boats, and any number of other things. There are other objects that are much more inexplicable: a giant silver ball, suspended by several rods, for example.

There's another set of doors at the end of the balcony, and she swipes an access card through a reader besides them. They depress with a space age his. revealing a clean white laboratory, with rows and rows of tables and lab equipment set up. Numerous knights buzz around in white lab coats, working under microscopes and on computers, conferring over a number of projects.

"This way," she instructs simply, not sparing the lab a second glance, heading for a door on the left hand side of the room.  She presses a hand against the panel there, and the red light changes to green, unlocking the door for everyone's access.

Beyond is a very long room, with rows of labelled cases and cabinets with transparent glass revealing what's inside.  Lis'sa steps crisply to the other side of the large stainless steel table.

[That causes Riddick to smirk. Seems she didn't like being told her toys weren't perfect. He shrugs but wants to make sure she at least considers having the rest of this batch checked so his new fellow squires won't die or kill anyone else while just in the shooting range.]

Maybe. Guess it's up to you, but with that type of thing it's usually the mold used when making the gun, and that "anomaly" will probably be on the whole batch. Well... except for mine. [He says that last with an "I'm an asshole" grin.]

Are you volunteering for the position of checking them all, Sir Riddick?

[Riddick's grin grows wider and slightly wolfish, his shoulder shrugging smoothly. He lets out a deep rumble of a laugh as he leans closer to her.]

Not really my field of interest, but if you would like some help with it, I'd be more than willing to volunteer.

[The grin he gives her now says he know's she'll say no, and likely be offended, but he'd perfected getting out of doing things he didn't want to a long time ago. This was as sure a way to get putting him doing menial tasks as far from her mind as possible.]

[If her cool is compromised, she nat 20 refrains from showing it, leaning in with a smirk on her face]

Good. There are more cases in the other room.

[That just makes him grin even more as he visibly looks her up and down. He liked a challenge.]

I'm ready whenever you are. You open them up, I'll file them down. Sounds like a good buddy system, hmm? [He says this all smoothly in his deep voice which would normally seem creepy and awkward coming from someone who looks like him but instead with the help of a 19 Charisma check it actually comes out rather smooth and inviting. He raises a brow of his own, waiting.]

[Her expression doesn't betray any interest or disinterest - she just casually looks towards the other squires] It'll have to wait until were done here.

[Half of him had expected her to turn him down flat, and the other half was looking for more of a challenge. No, that wasn't quite right. He wasn't used to dealing with someone so cool and collected. He usually evoked one strong emotion or another from people, mainly fear and hate. She was just damn interesting. He was looking forward to later.]

Sure, whatever you say. I'm free whenever you want me. [And yeah, he adds another wolfish grin to that.]

[Again, she keeps her face composed against any visible reactions, though she keeps from looking back at his face]

How benevolent of you.

[That gets a smaller, more satisfied smile out of him. He'd gotten something there. He lets out a low, spine-tingling chuckle, as he casually steps past her, of course right within her personal bubble though he doesn't touch her.]

I do try [he rumbles, looking right at her face as he passes by her.]

[She glances up as he moves into her space, meeting his eyes for a moment, and holding them. But says nothing. And then turns her attention back to the others.]

[He takes in a deep breath as he passes by her, almost as though he is taking in her scent. Lol the creepy never ends.]
