[Kenzi gets a text telling her to meet Andie in the Foyer, but Andie's way too impatient to wait for Kenzi to come to her. Five minutes or so after Kenzi gets the text, there's an excited, fast-paced rapping on her door.]

[And Andie's gone now without an explanation. Or really much of anything but a quick blur of motion.]

[Kenzi now doing the sniff test on her clothes to make sure they aren't going to get up and walk out of here all by themselves before she starts trying to put them on.]

[She feigns a look of shock.] You mean I'm not already the best squire ever?! [A beat.] You don't need to answer that... really... Yeah I'm just gonna... get dressed.

[Which on account of Kenzi's lack of modesty is a thing that's going to happen while Andie is there.]

So what's with the wake up call anyway? [Voice muffled by her shirt being pulled over her head.] Is this that thing where you tell me the dos and donts so I know what to not do when you're around?

[HA HA WELCOME TO WHY YOU'RE NOT THE BEST SQUIRE EVER. No, Andie just gives her a raised eyebrow of come on and shrugs.]

Sort of! It's an orientation. So I like, show you around the castle and stuff. And yes, some dos and donts, but only the important ones that you should actually follow, okay?

An orientation! [Like this might actually be amazing.] I feel like I'm back in college only this time it's real.

[Rule One of retaining sanity when dealing with Kenzi. Don't ask.]

We can negotiate on the dos and donts. [Quick to carry on in the hopes Andie won't pick up on what she just said.] I can save you some trouble. I already oriented myself with the kitchen. [Chatting away as she continues to dress.] Which - awesome... except for the whole, blood bags thing. That was just creepy but whatever.

Well, you know, better than vampire knights eating people. [She's a little disappointed, honestly, she was hoping to grab a snack, but it's not like she can't do that any time.] Do you have any questions? We could start with those. I haveta admit, I haven't really oriented anyone before.
