The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

Well, that won't take much. The talent pool at ISIS was about as shallow as... uh... shallow... thing...

So, you wanted to know more about the Horizon?
Do you guys have space stations here?

Several, both past and present, yes. But none under that name with which I'm familiar.

Weird. The Horizon was actually pretty kick-ass, until Barry showed up and ruined everything... And, also, before I got shot with a high-powered anti-personnel laser weapon and thrown in the brig.

What were you trying to accomplish on the station to begin with?

Oh, we were hired to go up and put down a mutiny.

Turns out the guys who hired us were actually the mutineers, clever bastards, and they were on some mission to steal all of our women and run away with them to start a colony on Mars.

Naturally, I broke out of the brig and, guns blazing, saved the day. Pretty routine day for Sterling Archer, really. Actually a little light on the sex and alcohol, but otherwise on par.

Was that sort of... mission considered commonplace for your work as well?

Yeah, pretty much. Firefights on blimps... Infiltrating a heavily guarded bank... oh! and I became pirate king, once.

You certainly seem to possess a sense of adventure. And an array of experience that should certainly benefit our organization. [ this is real life ]

I do perform best in zones which contain at least moderate amounts of danger.

Also, yes. Extremely experienced, in all forms of HUMINT... particularly, the often under-appreciated Honeypot.

Particularly. [ he just repeats that, suppressing amusement, because really, that's what you brag about, archer. REALLY. ]

Well it's just so viable, you know? You can turn a double-agent to a double-double agent... expose a mole... get access to extremely sensitive info...

And, well what can I say - I'm just plain good at it. I mean look at me. It's like I'm chiseled out of marble.

[Of course he talks about the Honeypot. It's his BEST skill.]
