So far getting my ass handed to me hasn't been a lesson. [Because... she would get her ass handed to her. Spectacularly.] It's kind of nice though. Someone else getting his lectures, I mean. Feels like a day off.

You think he would do that after investing six months in you?

I don't know. He doesn't give me any indication of... anything. Except this particular bitchy face when he's extra annoyed that I exist. Which is basically all the time.

[Its bad that Lila can calmly talk this way about someone she actually cares about. But Sydney had a point, Lila would only stop her from following through if it would actually hurt Eric. No one fucks with her ~~dad~~ mentor but her okay.]
