[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of this month.  Because not everyone is into parties, ok.

[Guess who’s walking around outside with a strange leather book in her pocket and a thin volume about gardening in one hand? Diana is! Being out of doors kind of helps with her ruffled emotions after time spent listening to Faye give her instructions, and she prefers reading beneath a tree to being hunched over in the library – so long as it’s not raining outside.

She’s not exactly expecting to find anyone else out here, so she practically runs into him in a spectacular reenactment of her squiring ceremony mishap (bal 6). Look, her brain is otherwise occupied and no one said she was particularly dexterous in the first place.] Oh! I’m sorry, I shouldn’t— [Have been walking around with your nose in a book instead of on your surroundings? Yeah.]

There’s not usually very many people out here; I guess I’ve gotten used to it.

[David is paying a bit more attention, because he manages to keep her from stumbling too much (reflex save: 23). His balance isn't fantastic (balance check: 12), but he at least manages to keep them both on their feet for the time being.]

It's fine. With as quiet as it gets out here, it's easy to forget that there are other people around.

[She offers him a gracious smile, nodding in agreement.] It's a nice break from all of the chaos inside, sometimes.

[Chaos is putting it nicely - which is how she does most things, though Faye is wearing her patience thin.] Thank you, for... that. I'm not normally so topsy turvy, but something about this place seems to bring it out.

[Her heart speeds up a little at the mention of magic, though Diana isn't quite sure why. It's safe to talk about here, Nessa would have told her otherwise, she's pretty sure.

She tends to find her own footing pretty quickly, although the fact that she's so nice that animated birds probably dress her and sew dresses for her might help. Just a little.]
