If you go into the library today, you will find an unusual sight- for one thing, Gold's back, but he must have snuck in like a ninja because it's not like he made any great announcement of it. Just swanned in, checked on his crocodile, and immediately tracked down a certain blonde homo magi. Suspicious!

Said homo magi is currently in the library with him. In fact, they're in the section with all the magic books, chatting animatedly about... something or other. (A listen check of 18 will catch what they're saying).

[Gold pulls a face as he thinks.] A long time now, I think. Centuries- longer. There's books here in languages I don't even recognize- not for a lack of trying, mind you.

I'll admit I haven't done as much research on the subject as I could have. Up until the mission, I would have assumed a race of powerful sorcerers living in secret was merely the stuff of legends. [Which is funny considering he shares a castle with fuckin' elves, man.] I'm glad to be wrong. I imagine there's a great deal you could teach us.
