The reality that if there was running it would have been her running (possibly screaming) face first into Hell, of a fashion, she doubts is lost on either of them.] Yeah, I'd want to hang out with me too, gosh I'm such good company. Archer's only confident 'cause his brain is too small to process anything bigger than bravado. I'm confident, because I don't give a shit. Burt's got chutzpah, so long as Myri doesn't scare him under a table. I'll gladly let him fill in. [Sliiding into the elevator.]

[He tenses a bit and leans against the back wall.] I made it up on the spot. I wasn't lying when I said I had a guy write something.

[Yeeeeah. He was doing a lot better with this conversation when it was about music. He goes silent and nods a thank you before dropping his gaze to the elevator floor.]

[Welcome to life with a friend (Are they friends? She should double check.) with the attention span of a crack addled monkey on speed. And ecstacy. ADHD is fun. It also is the reason she can change subjects on a dime. Especially when they have, seemingly, nothing to do with each other.]

Do you think room service can hook me up with some cotton candy? The grocery store is like... far away and I don't feel like wondering if I need a babysitter to leave.

[If he had one. His lease in Manhattan was up when he went to Scotland BEFORE ALL OF THIS STARTED. Still. His fridge was scary.]

[Usually she is okay with what other people eat, so long as they don't try to force it on her (which is why she doesn't force vegetarianism on anyone else as a kindness), but stuff like caviar and veal (IT IS A BABY COW!) and any other meat that is a cute baby animal, she can't always hide her distaste for.

Especially fish eggs, apparently.]

I will definitely remind you of that. [A beat.] Where do you even live?

Used to live in Manhattan. [DING goes the elevator. He reaches over to hold the door closed so she can get out.] Top floor of an old boarding house. My lease ran out about two months before I saddled up with you guys. Hotels ever since.

Not that I'm saying anything, but knights have free room and board... [Out she swans.] I'm from California. Probably.
