[Andrew should have contacted his squire sooner. He actually meant to contact the guy the day after the party, but he... forgot. Late in the evening while he's updating a few of the computers in the lab, he remembers and grabs for his phone. Shooting off a quick text, he's extremely informal in his last minute invitation for a run down on the way this whole thing works.

God, he's going to be bad at this. He tries to tell himself otherwise, but he knows, deep down. In order to avoid thinking about it, he busies himself with various updates on the machines. Unfortunately, he gets pretty into his work fairly quickly. So he probably won't notice when the man does arrive.]

[Thankfully, Andrew's nat 20 listen means he heard Brantley long before he actually started knocking things about so he's not jumping out of his skin right now.]

It's... it's fine. Can't hurt it any more than some of the blokes that come barreling through here do. [he sighs and shakes his head.] So I just wanted to talk with you and make sure you know how this all works. I can show you around the castle too, if you want.

Ummm.... How about some explanations about the things I do as a squire? The routines or the training, maybe?

Right- Good question. Alright, so your job is mostly to just be yourself. But like... the best yourself that you can. There's training for pretty much anything. And if there isn't I can help you find someone to help you get something started. Weapons and stuff is the most common, but if you aren't the fighter sort, don't get discouraged.

You can study up on just about anything, work on tactics maybe? And if you're any good with tech, you could help me out around here. [He gestures around the lab.]

Wynn's got a schedule for all the squires to work the front desk, which mostly just involves answering the phone to keep up appearances for our cover agency. And then handling any emergencies that might happen.

Got it. But I think I'll stick to people skills and stuffs. I'm not on good terms with electronics. [Brantley can do simple stuffs like browsing or sending an email. But if you ask him to do some tinkerin', you'll need a very high repair skill to salvage what's left.]

So, nothing I should do for you? Polishing your sword or something? Carrying your banner?

[Thankfully Andrew's repair check is pretty ridiculous. He snorts a laugh.] No, nothing like that. It's more about me making sure you get all your questions answered and don't get overwhelmed by all this.

[Well, technically, the usage of the word is a bit incorrect, but you get what it means. Or maybe not?]

Well, I heard that lots of places have it. It's not such a big deal for me if you want it, you seems really nice. I guess it's okay if it's with you. Might be kind of awkward at first, though. But... I think we can work it out somehow.

[While this happens, Brantley's brain decides to take a break, resulting in weird interpretation of Andrew's word and bizarre choice of words from Brantley.(wis 7)]

I don't see what's wrong in that! Sure some people says our relationships are more than close, but what's wrong with having partner[in crimes]-like relationship with your own brother!? And I would also appreciate it if we keep our relationship casual [platonic], like with my real brother!

[And he says all that with a bit of angry tone.]

[Uh..Oh..The overly attached little brother, Brantley, really doesn't like when someone insult his big bro (or his bromance with his brother, in this case). Luckily, due to his cool-headed brain - which is still taking a break(wis 9, will nat 20), he doesn't punch Andrew in the face.]

[He pauses for a moment - confused, and shocked. Although Brantley would probably like it if that happens. No! Brantley didn't, don't and won't have sex with his brother.]

NO! Of course I don't! You said you- [He sputters to explain, because THIS IS NOT HIS FAULT OKAY. Why is the universe doing this to him??]

[Thankfully Brantley's processing unit is starting to reboot.(wis 17)]

Listen! Whatever you think you heard, forget about it! My relationship with my brother is purely platonic, and I would prefer if we also start ours the same way.

[Unfortunately, Rebooting doesn't necessarily mean ready to work.]
