The big day has finally arrived. As media coverage rises to a frenzied fever pitch, Jaka's final preparations are completed, and the team assembles to head down for the trial of Rafael Giovanni.
Large crowds are gathered outside, some of whom tote signs condemning Rafael as a murderer, others pledging their support and love for the singer. Police officers keep order, and hold the crowds back as the stars are led up the steps and inside the courthouse.
They'll have some time to convene with Burt and Jaka in a private room before the trial itself begins. Unfortunately, Jaka still hasn't shared the change in plans that he and Des discussed in private...

[ the judge rubs his temple and folds his hands on top of the podium. "Very well. That will end today's session - we'll reconvene once the prosecution and jury have had the chance to review this new... evidence." He does not sound particularly pleased about jaka's little trick of tossing a whole bunch of unplanned hoohah into the fray, whatsoever. He bangs his gavel. "Dismissed." There's a bit of a murmur in the courtroom and Jaka turns back to smirk at Failboat, as Burt glances around, one hand slung over the back of the bench. Everyone is ordered to rise as the judge departs, and then sweet freedom is afforded to them all. ]

[Her voice is hard as she also follows them out of the courtroom. She can't say anything for the rest of them, but she hopes they didn't have anything to do with it too. She doesn't think she can stand to be mad at anyone else.]
