ORIENTATION ♔ and climb high to the highest rung
WHO || Christos, Soo-Jin, open if people want to bang into them, just threadjack wherever.
WHAT || Christos meets with his squire
WHERE || Knight's HQ, Breakfast Nook
WHEN || Not very long after the squiring party in December
HOW || Actionspam
[ Christos leaves a note on Soo-Jin's door in the morning, to meet him in the breakfast room, because he's a creature ofbadhabits, and also he likes people coming to him, lbr. it's easy enough to find, a little nook in the dining hall, where he's the only situated at this hour. ]

After getting bored, she heads back to her room to pick up a bag of chips--or “crisps” as they say round these parts--which she’d stashed there earlier for snacking emergencies.
That’s when she sees the note.
CrapcrapcrapcrapCRAP! How long has that been there? Is she late? Ack!
Thank the gods Soo-Jin’s wandering spirit had already prompted her to scope out a large swath of the castle. Finding the breakfast room in a hurry is no problemo, so she beats feet all the way there, Edgar streaking behind her.
A whoosh of wind accompanies her as she blasts through the doorway before skidding to a halt. With a quick motion, she smooths her clothes and then puts on her game face. A slight case of sylph nerves is stirring up the air, but it’s not too noticeable at the moment.
There’s nobody else here right now, which makes locating her mentor that much easier. Without further ado, she approaches the nook and introduces herself.]
“Hi! I’m Soo-Jin. You must be Sir La Krail.”
[Got a 17/21 on her wisdom check/will save (wasn’t sure), which is freaking amazing for her. Otherwise, she might have yo-Christos-wassuped him. Bless those (online) dice.]

You're late.

Really? Are you sure? [~unsure~] Maybe you're early. [~helpful~] Anything's possible.
[Smiling, she sliiiides into the seat directly opposite, clasps her hands together on the table in front of her and staaaares at him through his newspaper.]

So... [She presses her lips together for a moment and then opens her mouth, making a popping noise.] You, uh, gonna start orienting me now?

You're gonna be judging me? [Good thing he obviously thinks so much of her already. /sarcasm. She's not that oblivous (sense motive 16). To be fair, he doesn't think much of most people.]
I got skillz. You'll see. I'll make you proud. [Yep. She's keeping hope alive.]

Spy skills. And thief skills. But mostly spying. I know how to slip into places unnoticed and stay hidden. I can also get into spaces most others can't. And I've had a lot of experience with procuring items and information, even things that were well hidden from prying eyes.

On the job. [Her next words come out a little rushed.] It was legit. [Sorta. If you squint. And use the term "legitimate" loosely.]
I’ve been freelancing since I arrived ten years ago. I don’t remember before that. [She taps one finger against her temple.] Veil-nesia. [a beat.]
