Unlike the grandiose nature of the squiring ceremony each Knight undergoes upon their initial entrance into the Knighthood, the graduation to Full Knight status takes place in a much more intimate affair, between the Knight, their mentor, invited friends, and the members of the sect to which they will be inducted. There's no pompous music, no stolid rank and file, no elaborate march.

Faye's invitees are given seats of honor at the front of the ranks of the Dragon's Fire members  and Nessa, Wynn, and Hasmed wait up at the front of the room for Faye to approach them, but the attitude of the ceremony is much more relaxed, full of smiles and light conversation on all sides from the other sect members.

Wynn finally gets things rolling, by saying in his loud listen-to-me voice: "Approach and kneel, Sir Faye Chamberlain."

Nope. [ unless chinese food naked in bed watching netflix counts as plans. maybe. ]

Me either. [No, that doesn't count.] We should fix that. Think we can get Emma to go out with us? [Felicity was a given. Faye was pretty sure that wouldn't be hard at all to get her on board.]

Probably, she kind of loves us.

I think it's more of a mild tolerance on my part.

[She might be... sort of jealous of the way Emma and Lila seem to connect. Which is weird and she doesn't want to talk about it. Ever.]

[ lila raises her eyebrows slightly and shakes her head just a bit. no. she doesn't even care if emma does or doesn't love faye or if her prickly friend lets her, lila loves faye. that's enough. ] I think that's a little bit in your head. What do you want to do.

[She just shrugs. Maybe it is in her head. But she still remembers how she first met Emma... after fucking Hook in Emma's room. It isn't exactly a great impression.]

Drinking. Dancing. See what kind of trouble we can get into.

Oh yeah. People know me. [She tosses her hair dramatically. PLEASE NOTE: There was a time in her life when Faye would have done that in all seriousness. It's a testament to this place that she can joke about it now.]
