It's Valentine's Day! All around people are happily snuggling up with their loved one or drowning their feelings in booze and/or ice cream. Give out cards or chocolate or commiserate with other single people! Whoo Valentine's Day!

[There's a part of Andrew that actually feels stupid amounts of guilty that he's going on an actual date on Valentine's Day rather than stuffing his face with candy and watching youtube videos and campy sci fi movies with Ella. They've goofed off together for the last few V-Days and it's been something of a tradition.

There's also a part of Andrew that doesn't know how to wake up before noon, so when Ella barrels in, he is definitely still snoring. He wakes up with a start when she speaks, his hair a floppy, curly mess and one eye still shut.]

Fuuuuuuck you. [ she pulls an entire pot of tea from the bucket, unstopping the spout and setting it on a nearby table. this is followed by a mug for andrew and a tea cup for her. also a pot of sugar. bitches get shit done. ]

It's not even March. You've got to expect this by now.

[Still groggy, he gives her a lopsided smile and moves towards the tea, basically like a zombie.

Someone stayed up too late worrying about tonight.]

It's not even like my birthday is on St. Patrick's! [ no, ella has the ides of march instead. ] I'm just ginger and Irish. [ and wee, and rude, and fond of gold and hitting things with sticks and pranks. ] And Ireland has the second highest population of redheads, its not my fault!

[ ella sometimes forgets she wasn't born here, because she was just a few weeks old. ]

[He opens his mouth to say that, seeing as he actually IS properly Irish, but... Yeah not worth the fight. He closes his mouth and just starts for his tea instead.]

I almost filled your room with boxes of Lucky Charms when you were gone, but figured I liked my balls attached a lot better.

[ that actually makes her laugh as she stirs sugar into her cup because clearly she needs more sugar in her life. ] Don't tell Finn, he'll be so disappointed.

Maybe when he gets back, I'll have him help me. [He actually likes Finn quite a lot. He's a good brother type, and even if he's part of the Hide, he doesn't give Andrew quite as many inadequacy feelings.]

Movies, tea, snacks? [ basically the same thing they always do sans booze so andrew won't be drunk for his date and because ella doesn't like drinking alone. ] Pizza for lunch later.

Better get started then. I've got to squeeze in as much time with you as possible before I have to start getting ready. [He glances down.] Suppose that means I should put on pants, huh?

Why? We're not going anywhere and I don't give a piss about your scrawny chicken legs.

Did I tell you that Edain came up to us at the squiring party? Bo got him to sit the fuck right down. It was beautiful. [okay he won't talk about her the whole time. But mostly he's just excited to see Edain put in his place.]
