It's Valentine's Day! All around people are happily snuggling up with their loved one or drowning their feelings in booze and/or ice cream. Give out cards or chocolate or commiserate with other single people! Whoo Valentine's Day!

You're welcome. [She counters with a slow smile. Okay this wasn't so bad. Moving through the castle halls, she finds the tavern like establishment and is pleased to see it pretty much empty. At least she doesn't have to worry about running into anyone else.]

[She's not even a half step behind him, going so far as to even just slip behind the bar because she can. And I'm just deciding that this place is empty right now. FIGHT ME.]

[ He arched a brow watching her go behind the bar. Yep, shes a keeper.]

Whiskey. What else? Unless you think you know something I'd like better. [ a grin crossed his face as he kept himself from saying the dirty thought that crossed his mind.]

[The surprise is that it's probably more whiskey. She pours his drink and slides it over before leaning on the bar, offering him a nice view of cleavage.]

So besides being completely dense when it comes to holiday, how are you adjusting or whatever?

[ Lifting the whiskey his eyes drift right down to the nice view, a grin crossing his features before he took a drink.]

Not my fault, however. Its not too bad here once you get the jist of it all.

[They didn't really get to know one another very well last time. They were too busy tearing each others clothes off.]

All I remembered was my name. But I know it was a place close to this because nothing really confused me? Like some people can't work a light switch because of where they came from. All the normal things like that? I'm fine.

[ He figured it was better then explaining a long complex history and he didn't even thinks he would really care. ]

Funny how that works, huh? Yeah light switches were a bitch. Holidays, celebrities, fucking television... though I kinda like the television. This shit all feels alien to me. Maybe my home was one of those old world places? Who knows. [ He shrugged a bit [bluff check 14]]

[ The stable boy comment got a sharp look, that crumbled his words. Oh he knew shit. And that hit a nerve.]

I am certain I was never that low. [ He took down the drink then.] All the same, it is far gone so why care? New lives, and new adventures, or whatever.

Sure, but it's hard not to wonder. I showed up here and figured out I could use magic. I don't know if I ever knew that before. I don't know who I was before. I could have been anyone.

You can tell me all about your change here, but I dont remember back home, and I care not too. I came here, I nearly got hit by a van, it was full of musicians he taught me pretty much what i know here then dropped me off here after a few months. That's the whole tale.

A few. [She shrugs the question off. She really only counted a grand total of three people as friends (and even then, she was reluctant to use the term sometimes).]

I keep people around when they're useful.
