It's Valentine's Day! All around people are happily snuggling up with their loved one or drowning their feelings in booze and/or ice cream. Give out cards or chocolate or commiserate with other single people! Whoo Valentine's Day!

I've been alive a long time. I've come to not need them as much, anymore.

Well... that's rather droll. If you don't have a hobby, what are you going to go back to if we ever actually win this whole crusade? [Such a simple view of the world, Phineas.]

[ amusement pricks in her eyes as she looks up at him. ] You think some day the world won't need us anymore?

Well... The alternative is a rather depressing notion altogether... so I'd like to think so, yes.

There's not much point to good without evil.

Well... I don't know about that. I'd argue that good for the sake of good has it's merits.

That's not what I meant. But very high minded of you.

Well... My art definitely has fostered a strong resolve to do good. Real good, and not just... hatred under the guise of righteousness.

And, yes - [He grins,] - I do think "good" will defeat "evil" enough that we will be able to take an occasional vacation, without the world going to shit.

Coincidences seem pretty rare, in a world like this, all things considered...

I happen to be a sucker for history, of which Valentine's day is overburdened with, and pretty girls; need I say more?

[He folds his arms.] But if you like, we can write it off as a coincidence.

"Girls"? [ yes, that's what she took away from that. ]

I don't get offended very easily. It's an unnecessarily stressful way to live one's life.

[Phineas' eyes narrow as he contemplates... What's the best age to guess (Though it will be so horribly wrong, as he's not caught on to her heritage whatsoever.)]

[Phineas looks shocked, then puzzled, then interested; all in the span of just a few seconds.]

[He grins, because he thinks that's pretty clever. He's been watching too many commercials since he got here. TV's cool, man.]

Or I'm genetically predisposed to last longer than a regular human.

I'm not particularly predisposed to believe in luck, however.
