It's over. After months of being sidelined by the trial of their friend Rafael, the Knights are finally free to return to England and see what headway the Dragon's Claws have made on discovering the location of the Talisman they seek.

But not everyone is so free to return. The consequence of getting Burt's assistance in disentangling Finnick from his contract and super-stardom was an ironclad agreement that allows Burt to sink his claws fully into Rafael's career. Considering that Burt knows their secret identity, non-disclosure agreement or not, the executive's renowned moral gray-itude doesn't exactly make it seem like a great plan to back out on the compromise.

They've at least been able to put off their goodbyes for a few days since the end of the trial, as Burt invited all of them to New York City for the opening of his brand new nightclub. Some of them flew out, while Archer and Des presumably drove their matching El Caminos cross-country in the days between. But now they've all met again in the Big Apple, for a celebration - and farewell of sorts.

[ burt finally makes his way back over with rafael and finnick in tow. raf seems to have warded off the ice cream man look to settle for his preferred classic black but in a very flattering cut, while finnick wears... whatever he eventually consented to.

rafael's eyes skim across everyone, particularly isa and buffy, and he affords them both a smile. ] You all look meraviglioso.

[ buffy smiles widely at the look on rafael's face, but her expression deteriorates into something bemused as he speaks. a moment's silence passes, and she quirks a brow, glancing around. ]

... Isn't that a skin condition?

It means 'wonderful'. [ sassy eye roll get. ] And it is very kind of you to say, Rafael.

[finnick is wearing this, by the by. lookin' sexy like he always do. and now he's going to go sit next to vi and hope for some chocolate-covered strawberries, too. mooching off her is his thing now, apparently. since making out with myri can't be anymore :'( ]

burt makes his way back over to the assembled, looking them over. ]

Make sure you all say thank you to Giovanni. He's the one footing this bill, not me. [ rafael looks baffled by this news, but too late, the order's already rung up. :| fall out, troops...
