What was supposed to be a night to unwind wound up with a confrontation between Failboat and Keijen Blade that didn't exactly go the way the team was hoping for. However, in the process, they at least managed to get Isabella back and extract Dumage from her long term undercover assignment.

The remainder of the night is spent back at the hotel, recuperating, in order to catch the flight back to London the next morning. This also means saying goodbye to those who will be going back to Chicago: Isabella, Burt, and Rafael.

Says the one who's got matching cars with our resident ponce. Or have you resolved that little crisis of identity?

[ buffy grabs kat's arm. someone has to be the hero she needs right now ok. it's for your own good, kat. she turns to smile at fred in greeting and corrects kat's manners. ]

[ kat makes a little high pitched whining sound as buffy grinds her to a halt. no mom, no. ]

Missed you. [ she says it jovially while strong arming kat up towards the car. ] I woulda called, but ... you know. [ she gives a little roll of her eyes. ] Hope you didn't burn down the castle since we've been gone.

He was probably too busy getting half the castle sent to the infirmary.

That must be what I've been missing. 'Cause the last time I was here, I wiped the floor with King Arthur. [ she won't let kat bring this mood down ok. she's aggressively fighting the awkward by engaging them both in the same conversation, looking up to fred. ] How's the Once and Future Loser doing?

Don't ask me. He took off to some other cell or to who knows where... probably seeing the world. I guess he's got a lot to catch up on. He'll be back some day.
